Chapter 12 ~The Murder~

"Stop I'm tired!" Milo groaned Nick stopped running and turning around. "We'll rest here" Nick said taking off his jacket. "Good I'm very, very tired" Milo said well he flopped on the ground, "Where are we?" Nick asked. "Looks like the sewer" Milo answered. Nick fell asleep for what seemed like a month. Nick felt a sharp pain in his shoulder but before he could wake there was another sharp stabbing pain in his leg. Nick woke up and screamed. "Milo?..." Nick asked looking around. There was a slight cough "yes?" A stiff hurt voice answered. "Milo! What happened?" Nick said hugging him. "Oww! That hurts and I don't know" Nick climbed off him "Sorry" Nick apologized. Nick then looked at his leg it was torn apart and he was bleeding heavily from the shoulder. Then he looked at Milo who's ear had been torn off, "Does it still hurt?" Nick asked taking off his shirt to stop the bleeding. "No" Milo said so fast Nick could barely hear. "Hey! In here!" Said a familiar voice. "Gabe!" Nick yelled, Gabe ran to Nick. 

"Oh shit, are you alright you two?!" Gabe asked calling the other officers to him. "No" they both answered quickly. Gabe called 9-1-1 and soon they could hear sirens. Nick got pulled into something and passed out. Later Nick woke up in the hospital with Milo in the bed beside him. "Milo?" Nick spotted Milo awake who's ear had bandages all over. "What is it" Milo rolled over. "Are you alright?" Nick asked. "Yup i'm fine now let me sleep" Milo groaned well closing his eyes. Then Gabe walked in with another person. "Howdy" Gabe said well the person who got a sketch book out. "Milo can you explain to Melody what the attacker looked like" Gabe asked well patting Nick on the opposite shoulder that he got cut on. "Fine but, no more interruptions after this" Moaned Milo. "What was their head shaped like" Melody asked pulling out a pen. "Well her head was an oval shape" Milo said when he ended Melody drew an oval shape. "What was her eyes shaped like?" Melody asked when she was done drawing. "Circle like she had deep dark blue eyes" Milo said trying to remember. "Ok, What was her nose and mouth like?" Melody sketched more. "Her nose was wide I can tell ya that but she had a serious expression on her face like she was doing a task" Milo ended.

"Good how long was her hair?" Melody ended drawing. "She had really long curly blonde hair and was wearing a hot pink headband" Milo smiled at the thought of it. "Next What was she wearing?" Melody asked with a suspicious smile. "A black shirt with a white skirt" Milo said sleepily. "Great" Melody said deeply. She turned the picture around and Nick screamed "Anna that's ANNA!!!" Gabe looked at it and nodded. "Well you know now" Melody said taking off her hat. "Minnow?!" Gabe froze in shock. "Anna's aunt? I thought you were dead!" Nick exclaimed. "Well you thought Milo was dead" Minnow reasoned. "You make a fair point" Nick said "So what are we all going to do?" Gabe asked. "We are going to find Anna" Melody said heroically "'Oh is this the part where the music comes in and we pose heroically?" Milo asked "Yes Milo indeed" Gabe finished "Okay but how are we going to find Anna?" Nick said "I have no idea" Melody replied "Yeah that's why I asked" Nick said again "So what are you suggesting" Melody asked "We get help from the government" Milo finished "Yup you got it" Nick confirmed.
