Chapter 5:Kitty cat party

-3rd POV-

Currently sitting in a Thai restaurant named Prachya Thai was the Parker family enjoying their food, though May could tell something was wrong with Peter just by the look on his face.

"May:What's the matter Peter? Thought you loved larb, it's too larby? Not larby enough."

Peter just sat there with his leg bouncing, he had barely touched his food.

"(Y/N):How many times does she have to say larb before you'll say something?"

"May:Pete you know I larb you."

"Carnage:Peter please say something, spare us the torture of listening to her puns."

"Peter:I'm just stressed, the internship, and I'm tired, a lot of work."

"May:The Stark Internship? I have to tell you, not a fan of Tony Stark."

"Carnage:Sorry what?"

"May:You're distracted all the time, he's got you in your head, what does he have you doing?"

As May kept talking (Y/N), Peter and Carnage started to focus on a news report playing on a nearby TV, it was about the Bank robbery they stopped and how Mr Delmar's shop was destroyed, eventually May realised she was unintentionally being ignored and turned around to see what they were looking at, seeing the news report as well.

"TV presenter:-as the Spider-Man and one (Y/N) Parker in the form of a massive red alien attempted to foil their heist, a powerful blast was set off, slicing through both the bodega across the street, and (Y/N) himself, though the boy quickly regenerated from the damage."

Seeing this May quickly turned to her son looking somewhat furious, after all the camera footage showed Carnage getting cut in half.

"May:You got cut in half?"

"Carnage:Oh, this isn't good."

"(Y/N):Uh..y-yeah I guess, but Carnage kept me safe, he healed me and I didn't even feel a thing...."

"May:Can Carnage come out? I want to speak with him."

Carnage, thinking he was about to die, slowly came out of (Y/N)'s shoulder looking terrified at what he thought May was going to do, only for them to be surprised at what she said next.

"May:Thank you."

"Carnage:I'm sor-...excuse me?"

"May:I said thank you, for keeping my son safe out there."

"Carnage:Oh, um...you're welcome, I will always keep him safe."

"May:Good, because if you wouldn't I would kill you."

And Carnage was right back to being scared of May, seeing their conversation was over Carnage went back into (Y/N) while May went back to talking with his host and Peter.

"May:If you spot something like that happening, you call (Y/N) and you run the other way."

"Peter:Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course."

Suddenly Peter changed the topic of conversation to something he needed to talk about.

"Peter:I, uh, need a new backpack."

"May:What?"

"Peter:I need a new backpack."

"May:That's five."

Suddenly a waiter came over to their table with a smile on his face and putting a bowl of food down in front of May.

"Waiter:Sticky rice pudding."
