"Hey babe, are you ready? I'm coming to pick you up." my boyfriend, Drake, said from other side of the phone "Yeah, come on then, i only have to do my hair, and I can do it until you come to my home" i said keeping the towel on the bed, spreading it to dry actually, because im just too lazy to hang it in the balcony. "Okay, see you in ten" he said and hung up after we both said bye's to each other.

I let out a sigh, not because i was annoyed, or tired or anything negative, but because of seing the mess i did in my room to find a right, cute, and a suitable outfit for a coffee date. All my jumpers, onesies, dresses, T-shirts, Pants, sweatshirts and what not, were all on the bed and floor and.......... the night stand beside my bed? how did my clothes even go there?  Maybe when i randomly pulled them out and threw it behind me, who knows?

I then finished drying my hair within a fraction of seconds, as they come down just below my shoulders. I dusted a little amount of powder across my cheeks, and applied my strawberry flavored chapstick which Drake had bought for me last month, i remember i never used it, as i stopped going out since then.

I heard a car honk from the front of my home which implies that he's here, i picked my heels in my hand and checked myself in the mirror just to be sure I'm not overdressed for whatever he's been planning for today's date as im unknown of whatever in the world he has in his mind. I opened my door and saw him resting against his car door looking quite attractive, I'm afraid that if any girl sees this look of him, will surely try to steal him from me, no wonder why he has many women heads over heels for him in his workplace. "Aren't you coming in babe?" i asked him hoping he could come in and I would get a chance to devour his cherry lips before going out on our date. "Nope, we'll be late, so lock the door and hurry up sugar" he said and i hurriedly locked the door and moved towards him where he greeted me with one of his warmest smiles which never stop making my heart flutter, and opened the door after his lips found his way to my cheeks to give me a peck. He opened the door to let me in and i sat on the passenger seat which is next to the driver seat, obviously. He sat at the driver's seat and started driving to god knows where. 

His hand sneaked to my hands which held each other in my lap and gave them a squeeze when the lights had turned into red color, i hold my hands too tight when i feel nervous and this time i was nervous because I didn't know that if I'm perfectly dressed or over dressed for wherever he was taking me to. His smile peeked at me, a genuine and calming smile of his which, again, is my favorite. After few minutes, we arrived at the destination, we didn't have much conversation because he was driving the car and I don't like to talk when someone is driving, feels as if I'm disturbing them, and Drake knows that very well so he don't say anything when one of us is driving. 

We parked the car and unbuckled the seat belt but before i could move out of the car, he was quick enough to come and stand in front of my door and held a hand for me to hold for which my cheeks started to hurt and i bet it were pink now. Yeah, i blush only for small gestures like these. After pulling myself successfully from the 'blushing' scene I noticed my surroundings and saw that we had pulled over a cafe. It was smaller than those massive cafe's you see in the cities which look quite busy, but it was cute, honestly, I loved it already. It seemed to be a new café, and the colour combination of the café was looking pretty expensive, one would really get attracted to it so much that they'll never think to cross the cafe by not entering it. We went in and got ourselves some coffee, cheesecakes and cookies. We sat there for a while till we finished our eatables.

After we were done, we paid for the bill equally and then went for a walk as there was a small lake nearby the café, I googled it while we were still sipping on the bittery-sweet liquid. We sat on the grass after walking for a good 5 minutes. I rested my head on his shoulder and we sat there in silence, eyes closed, we didn't even realise when it had started to rain, but it did rain. I stood up and started dancing in my own world like a stupid "Niki, you'll get cold, let's enter the car" my boyfriend said but I held his and and kept a finger over his lips and whispered "It was always my wish to dance with the love of my life in the rain, so you better grant my wish today as we have a chance" for which he gladly acted as I said, we danced for good 30 minutes but the rain stopped and the sun peaked above, the sky was getting orange due to the sunset as it was already evening but there was a rainbow due to the refraction of the light. "Isn't it beautiful? All the seven colours and the sunset together, it's just so colourful and Beautiful." I said for which he hummed. Held my hands, crossed our fingers and looked at me in the eyes and gently kissed me and said "This is how you colour my life by being with me, I love you Niki" and left my heart flying, my brain stop it's processing and my stomach churning. "I love you too Drake"
