Little girl

They don't want her, only want she could do of them.
Like a used doll.
An unspoken rule of mutual benefit
Contests to see who can succeed the fastest
Mummers on her ever action.

Never quite a home
Only wanting to be left alone.
Failed attempts to gain attention.
From everyone...anyone, who would hear

Her story.

Not one that is told to everyone
but the story that belongs to her.
The story is her.

A broken little girl searching for true comfort

No expectations, no conditions.
A rare thing to find
Deep regret of the future.
A new hobby to win
No matter the cost.
Only for it to be in vain
Red marking and torn spirit.
A few words was all it took
To ruin relationships,
Start internal wars.

Endless nights
To do better, become the best
Nothing would be the same again.
She had given everything
If only time would be kind
The little girl wanted only
to be loved.

But it was too late
she had already grown up
and the little girl was
gone.
