Those memories...

It was hers. It was not her who caused of this. They betrayed her first. They took her love from her. And she was punished for that, too. I cannot let her get hurt again. I will protect her no matter what. That is my promise.

A sudden surge of energy burst through. It's warm. No. It is hot. But this. This is my power. I pushed away the elf. I can feel myself burning, but I don't care. I promised to protect her. I stood up and started to walk towards her. They tried to stop me, but no, I will never be stopped. Not again. Everything that touched be burnt. The roots burn at my feet as my whole body is covered in fire.

The crackling of the fire is the only thing I hear. And her... I reached the trunk and stared at her. My Lucy.

"My Dream." I tore the vines and branches away from her, making sure I won't burn her when I touch her. She fell on me and I hold her tight.

"I will never lose you again."

I carried her on my arms and turned to the crowd, the tree is now burning as I walk down, towards them.

Spirits don't die, they can only be encased, hidden.

"You hurt her." I accused them. It is their sin. They backed away. "You dare hurt, my love."

Thousands of years, I was torn into separate souls. But everytime, I love her. Everytime, I meet her. And we love and lose. But we always return to each other. Because I am the Sun.

"Kneel." I commanded. And they did. Reluctantly, but they did. They are just small spirits and how they dared to hurt us. I will burn them, that is the cost of their sin. Still it won't be enough but I will burn them.

I let my power set ablaze, the whole place is turning into fire. I will burn them. I will burn all of you.

A hand touched my face, I turned to her who has just awoken.

"It's alright now, they won't hurt you. I promise you."

"Haru." She spoke. That is my name. I smiled hearing her say it.

"They will never hurt you again. They will never set us apart."

"Haru." She called out, her tears well up.

"I'm here."

She clinged on to me, embracing me. Her cries continue, still repeating my name.

"I'm here. I won't leave you." I caressed her hair. It has been long since we were truly together.

"It's alright now." I just have to burn them and we will never be apart. She inched herself away only to look at me. She put her forehead on mine, as we fill the void of missing each other.

"I'm here. We're here."

She nod, a smile on her lips. Tears never stopped. You will always be happy. I promise. I will do everything for you. I will. My sight turned towards the others. Still unmoving.

I carefully set her down, still not letting go of our embrace.

"I will make sure that nobody will set us apart again, ever." I raised my left hand towards them. Ready to make my power swallow them. This is their fault. This is their sin.

But...*Drip**Drop**Drip*

Rain drops fell from the sky. It is raining. But.

"It's not their fault." Her small voice whispered. "Do not blame them." My fire is getting extingushed but I try to set them back.

"No. Stop this." She held onto my flaming arm. I immediately stopped the fire, before I burn her.

"Are you alright? Did I burn you?" I searched for any wound or burnmarks.

"Stop this." She repeated.

"Are you alright?" I kept asking.

"Haru."

I stopped.

"Stop this." She said again.

What does she mean? They hurt her. they hurt us. It's their fault.

She shook her head.

"Revenge will never end if you hurt them. Please. I hurt them, too."

I looked at the others. It was only then that I realized, they were frightened. They are... hurt. They bear thousands of years of their curse.

"Don't hurt them, please. It's enough." I retracted my fire, subconsciously. Suddenly feeling their emotions. I turned to Elena, she did this because of her love for her sister. And so are the others. I... I can't hurt them, too.

"It's alright now." She cupped my cheeks, making me look at her. She was smiling. She is safe now. She is here.

I breathed out. The raindrops also stopped.

"I'm sorry." I whispered to her or to them.

"It's alright. Thank you for fighting for me."At that moment I felt joy, my heart beats in happiness. She is here. She is safe. My love is safe. We are together again.

I hugged her, encasing her in my arms. Letting the feeling sink in.

"My love."

.
.
."No." A whisper from behind made us all look at whoever it is. It was Ajax. His head is bowed.

"You are not getting her. She is mine." He lifted his head, his eyes became the moon. This is not Ajax. It is...

"Lu Han."
