You & I

Chapter 2

I met up with Kendall after I went home and changed into my outfit. I was kinda nervous to go to the party, because when I see alchohal I tend to do stuff I regret. One time I went to Eric's party and I made out with so many people I didn't even want to show my face again.

"You ready to go?" Said Kendall excitedly.

"Let's do this."

When we got to the party the smell of alcahol overwhelmed me and I immediatley went to grab me a drink. Kendall followed me immediatley.
"Let's go dance." I said grabbing Kendall and draging her to the dance floor.

Jason the boy that has had a crush on me since the third grade came up and put his hands around my waist and started kissing my ear.

"Stop I wanna dance with Kendall." I pushed away from him feeling a little drunk. I walked up to Kendall she looked like an angel from heaven.

"Kendall I just wanted to let you know you look beautiful tonight."

"Katelynn I don't wanna hear it. You always make you believe that maybe you want me and that we have a chance, but you just flirt with everyone and I can't take it."

I pulled Kendall close to me and kissed her. She was suprised at first and then she started kissing me back. People gathered around us and started clapping and I pulled away realizing what I was doing. I looked at Kendall and she looked relieved.

"I'm sorry Kendall I didn't mean too."

"I've been waiting for that kiss my whole life. What do you mean you didn't mean to." Said Kendall.

"Well in that case." I scooped her and kissed her again. I could fill her smiling.

We literally kissed all night. Soon the party was over and Kendall and I got in the taxi.

"So what do we do now?" Kendall said as if the kiss had changed her life.

"We go home. Can you please stay with me tonight? My moms not home and I'm scared of being alone."

"Sure. Hey driver can you take us to 1105 North B St." Kendall yelled at the driver.

"Yes mam but that'll be $32.98." Said the taxi driver clearly annoyed he had to turn all the way around.

"That's fine. Just go as fast as you can."

When I got to my house I hopped in the upstairs shower while Kendall was in the downstairs one. I put my hair up in a messy bun and let the warm water of the shower beat down on me. I can't believe I kissed Kendall. I've had sort of a crush on her for a while but that began to fade away when she started dating this guy named Tyson and I told her he was just gonna use her. She didn't listen and ended up falling in love and loosing her virginity to him and he left her the next day. She cried her eyes out and I was the one who had to be there for her because that's what bestfriends do, but it made me mad because she couldn't get over it. I know its selfish of me to feel that way, but that's just how I fill. I'm scared that if I take a chance on Kendall I'll break her heart, but if I don't then she will just get tired of waiting and slip away from me. I don't know what to do. I hopped out of the shower and brushed my teeth leaving my hair in a messy bun. When I went to lay down Kendall was watching TV in a pair of pink bed shorts.

"Kendall I have a question."

"What is it Katelynn?" Kendall said.

"Can I take you on a date tommorow after school?" I said kindve shy.

"Yes do you know how long I've been waiting for this moment."

"Well its here. Let's just see how it goes." I said.

"Okay. Can I have a kiss?"

I bent down and gave her a longer kiss then I expected.

"Okay Kendall get some rest for tomorrow."
