The forenoon elicited in a blink of an eye, sunlight caressed the shore and shimmered over the seawater, the beach was now filled with some life, people visiting for a morning jog while birds chirping over the clouds, the crows somehow were lucky today as they have found a puddle full of a corpse left behind for them to eat up.

A pair, a master and his pet decided upon playing fetch, the man threw a fake rubber toy bone, commanding his dog to follow, and the pet obeyed, finding the toy and bringing it back to its master, they continued until the dog was told to find the bone again but this time he didn't come back, instead, he stopped at this one certain place and kept barking. The master was confused but walked up to the dog nevertheless.

The man's breath hitched as his eyes fell upon the extreme gory sight, plenty of corpses being thrown, one over the other, a faint smell of blood filled the man's nostrils and he immediately gagged upon the sight.

The crowd gathered up, gasping in horror and gagging up by the odour of the deaths, someone wise called up the police and soon the red siren cars came to clear up the mess.

Oh, holy shiv! It seems like a serial killer case." The constable remarked, hands on his hips, nauseate vastly visible on his face. Soon the divisions got to work, recognizing the bodies, acquainting the families, and filing a case such was done within a day, and no delay was done on the cop's part.

"Inspector Kamat, I have got a case for you, find the culprit as soon as possible and close it down, it's a high-profile case so make sure no blunders take place." the elder officer narrated while flinging the file at the inspector and made his way out promptly without giving attention to his colleague's protests.

The inspector sighed before unfolding the file thrown at him, he acquired interest as soon as he started skimming through the case.

The carcasses were now cleaned and identified, going to their respective families for further rituals and cremation. The mother cried her eyes out seeing her two sons lying motionless in front of her eyes, one's half skin burnt in ravages while the other had terrible abrasions on his neck, it was very apparent that he was choked till cessation.

Rakesh Patil and Mangesh Patil, two sons of the well-known political party head, Manohar Patil were now slaughtered and the felon is still breathing, this fact infuriated the 60 years man who sat still in his royal white leather davenport, a cigar in his hand burning itself with its aroma in the atmosphere, Manohar stared at the faces of his now death sons, his composure calm and no coherent expressions evident on his face, he held his cigar to his mouth, taking in a gust before throwing a half stick into the dump, the cottage filled with his wife's wails and whimpers as she shrieked her sorrow away.

Rahil Kapadia and Samridhi Shinde the high schooler, parents were middle-class folk, the death of their children wasn't just a shock but it was deep and sorrowful information to them, their only hope and source of life was suddenly snatched from them, (Rahil's father was a hard-working factory worker and Samridhi's Father a rickshaw driver).

The last body was of a taxi driver, the 49 years old kantaram whose spouse lived in his native place where he sent her all his income, and the news of his sudden death was sent to her.

After all, the forensic reports and postmortem procedures were taking place, the bodies were finally sent for cremation and after rituals.

"Sir, the reports came out, but I don't think there is any particular clue left out by the murderer." The sub-inspector handed over the forensic reports to her boss, Inspector Kamat took over the reports, his eyes already busy analyzing the paperwork at his table. " Sir, who do you think might be so cruel, he straight up killed five people and threw them at the seaside?" The Lady couldn't contain her curiosity and questions.

"If I knew who it was already, we wouldn't have to break our backs like this, would we, Devika?" The inspector sassed off, not even sparing her a glimpse.

"But I am sure of one thing for now," Kamat finally looked up with a mischievous smile on his face, "what?" Devika raised her perfectly defined brows with wonder glistening in her eyes.

Kamat searched his pockets with a grimace on his face which evaporated as soon as he pulled a glistening silver oxidised earring, it was a blackish silver hefty ornament that someone would usually wear for a traditional festivity. "An earring?" Devika took the jewel in her hands, scrutinizing it.

"I found it over the scene, thought it's better to keep it with me than giving it for examination." Kamat snickered at himself with his shoulder stretched with contentment, Devika clapped her hands for her senior, applauding him for his feats. She gazed at the silver jewel as she clamoured,

"One thing is certain for now, the culprit is not a he but a she."
