Everyone in Stray Kids was happy today. They were performing for their Stays-their home. Joy and excitement shimmered in their eyes as the cheers echoed through the venue. Even in a world filled with supernatural powers, nothing ever affected their careers as idols. Stays loved them unconditionally. They accepted mating bonds, dynamics-everything.
And then there was Lee Know.
The way he stood, the sharp confidence in his posture, the powerful alpha-like aura he carried-it drove Stays wild every single time.
As the music faded, all eight members stood together on stage. Their leader stepped forward.
With a beautiful smile, Chan looked at the crowd and spoke softly,
"I'm really happy to perform in front of you all with my members. I'm glad you enjoyed our performance and came to our concert."
His smile softened, almost bittersweet.
"But sadly... it's time to leave."
Chan turned toward the others, smiling warmly. The members held hands, bowed deeply to Stays, and waved as the cheers grew louder.
Then-
Lee Know froze.
A sudden wave of fear washed over him. His breath hitched as he felt warmth spreading, his body betraying him.
No... not now.
Lee Know was going into heat-right there, in front of everyone.
The omegas were the first to notice.
"Hy-hyung..." Felix whispered, eyes wide, instinctively glancing at Hyunjin, who looked equally shocked.
"Lee Know hyung," Hyunjin said softly, panic creeping into his voice, "you're... you smell like us during heat."
Lee Know whimpered, his knees weakening.
"H-help... I-I'll explain later. Please... just take me out. I need my nest."
Hyunjin quickly wrapped an arm around him as Lee Know's strength faded.
"Felix," he said urgently, "call everyone. It's important."
Hyunjin's eyes met Chan's across the stage. The leader immediately understood and rushed toward them.
"What happened, Lino? Are you okay?" Chan asked, then glanced at Hyunjin. "Are you in heat?"
"No," Hyunjin replied quickly. "Hyung... Lee Know hyung is."
Lee Know whimpered again as Chan's true-blood alpha scent brushed against him.
"Hyung, we need to take him out-now."
Chan let out a slow breath, nodded, and turned back toward the crowd. After a brief goodbye to Stays, he carefully lifted Lee Know into his arms.
"Chan-hyung," Felix said nervously, following close behind, "it's risky. He's an unmated omega... and you're a true-blood alpha. Please control yourself."
Chan's voice was firm but gentle.
"I will. I'm only taking him to his nest. Nothing more."
Time skip - Dorm
Lee Know was resting in his room, with the two omegas staying close to him, soothing him as best as they could. The alpha and beta members sat silently in the living room, tension heavy in the air.
Changbin was the first to break the silence.
"Lee Know hyung is an omega..." he muttered. "Then why didn't he tell us?"
Jisung sighed.
"Maybe he was scared. Fans think he's an alpha-maybe he thought they'd be disappointed if they found out he's an omega."
I.N frowned.
"But Stays would understand. It's not his fault."
"Yeah," Seungmin added softly. "I feel really bad for hyung. He must be in so much pain right now."
His eyes slowly turned toward Chan.
"Channie hyung..."
"Yeah, Minnie?" Chan replied quietly.
"W-why don't you help Lee Know hyung?"
Chan looked down, jaw tightening.
"I can't. He's not in the right state to make any decisions."
Changbin nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, Seungmin. During heat, omegas only think about finding their alpha."
Seungmin sighed.
"You're right... Let's wait until his heat is over. We have two weeks off anyway."
Everyone nodded silently, worry and concern lingering in the room.
