2004

Silence filled the room as the woman wearing a white saree with black blouse, looked between the man in his late 20's with well built muscle dressed in a formal shirt and khakhi pants, and the woman in her mid 20's.

"So this is your final decision?" The lawyer asked.

The man looked up at her and glanced the woman beside him before looking back at the lawyer.

"Yes Madhavi" he said.

She looked at the woman who nodded at her.

"Hmm... Okay.. Intha papers la rend perum sign pannunga"

She forwarded some papers which both of them signed. They nodded at the lawyer and left the room.

They reached the entrance of the court when both of them looked each other.

"Hmmm.. Aprom? Aduth enna plan?" He asked.

She chuckled painfully "Konja naal nimmathiya irukkanum... Engayavuth travel panna poren.."

"All the best.." He smiled "Good bye ex-wife" he forwarded his hand while she gently shaked it.

"Good bye" she whispered.

He walked to his bullet, hopped on it and rode away while she just stared his disappearing figure.

"Papa polama?"

She heard a voice. She turned and saw Saravanan, her elder brother standing there. She nodded at him with a slight smile and left to her house in her maruthi car.

Saravanan walked inside the room to find his little sister packing all her stuffs in a suitcase.

"Papa Trainuk time aayiduch da"

"Dho 2 minutes anna.." She said turning  towards him.

He sighed and walked towards her. He sat in the bed and looked at her.

"Papa ipo nee poyi thaa aaganuma?"

"Yen ney?"

"Illa ma..."

"Anney enak ipo oru break venum... ellathila irunthum... Konja naal nimmathiya irukkanum"

"Illa da.. Nee thaniya..."

"Thaniya thaa ney... Please enna dhayav senj poga vidu"

Saravanan sighed before getting up from the bed "Seri paathu bathrama poyit vaa" he patted her shoulder "Naa keezha wait panren nee seekram vaa" He said and walked away.

She turned back to the wardrobe and pulled more of her winter clothes which was kept unused for a long time. She threw the cloth on the bed and was about to close the wardrobe when a particular suitcase caught her attention.
