School. Why. School. Marion got up, and his legs felt weird, like jello. He didn't think anything of it. "Hey mom, I don't feel so good, my legs feel weird." His mom, Cindy, was a nurse but really cared about her kid, and didn't want him to miss school any day of the week, which was a problem for Marion.
"Okay, why don't we check your temperature?" Cindy says, getting the thermometer. Beep, beep, beep the thermometer went. "Well hon, looks like your temp is normal, and you look fine, I think you should go to school, okay?" Cindy said, trying to be comforting.
"But mom, look at me, I look like I just woke up from the dead!" Cindy tried not to laugh but felt like her ribs were going to crack from trying not to! "Oh, alright, if you really feel that horrid, like you just woke up from the dead-" "Oh, thank you, mom!" Marion ran and gave his mom a hug. "I'll make you some chicken soup, okay?" Marion had already zoomed up the stairs like a bullet.
