Chapter 1: Chris' Backstory.

As a kid, Chris' upbringing was rough. He grew up in a Republican, rural neighborhood. He often presented "girly" attributes such as exclusively hanging out with women, talking "differently", etc. He was bullied severely to the point of self harm and suicidal thoughts.
September 3 2007
At the age of 11, he tried to commit suicide via overdosing on Ibuprofen, his mother found him unconscious on his bed. He woke up 2 hours later on an itchy, hard mattress. He was surrounded by his family and in a medical ICU room. Almost immediately after gaining consciousnes, his dad started yelling at Chris
"HOW SELFISH DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO TRY AND KILL YOURSELF!?"
Chris, on the verge of tears, responded
"I-I'm sorry dad. I couldn't take the bullying anymore"
His father yelled with a burning rage and left the room in a fit. Chris broke down. Later at home, dinner got tense. Chris, awkwardly, stared at his food, contrarily, his father devoured it in an instant. His sister and mother both talked quietly between themselves. Later that night his sister and himself had a deep conversation
Sarah: "Are you fine?" she muttered.
Chris: "No.. not really. Life is hard" Chris explained
Sarah: "If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you"
