Later, the cold air didn’t matter anymore; Han and Lee Know were cuddling under the blanket, almost naked. Lee Know was lying next to Han, who was playing with his hair. Although Lee Know didn’t let the others play with his hair, Han was an exception.
“Do you still want tea?” asked Lee Know realizing they were going to drink tea before.
Han silently nodded, making Lee Know get up, throw his hoodie on him and warm the water again. Lee Know was moving slowly in the studio, eyes fixated on the electric kettle while taking out the snacks on a plate and adding the tea bags.
From across the room, Han was watching carefully, admiring Lee Know’s body. He couldn’t help it.
Minho felt Han’s eyes on him, so whenever he was standing still, he’d steal a glance and strike a pose, Han averting his eyes in a failed attempt of being sneaky. Minho knew he had been watching, so when he went back to the couch, he made sure to put his hand on Han’s thigh. His fingers were playing with the skin, moving in random geometrical figures, while Han was half red. “Is the tea too hot?” asked Minho teasing, smirking as usual. Jisung’s heart stopped beating. Too pretty, he thought.
They went back to cuddling.
The light started to slowly disappear and make the room dark; the couch was almost covered in darkness, the streetlights contouring the outline of the furniture. Their phones were muted, somewhere on the table.
Their universe, at that moment, was only them, the couch, the blanket they were under and their skins. Han’s hot breath fanning over Lee Know’s face, Minho’s hands on Han’s thigh and waist, keeping him close. Nothing mattered for a while besides what was going on there. Silence was all they needed. No words were spoken, and if they were, they meant nothing; the bodies tangled in each other were doing that for them.
“Baby?” asked Han, Lee Know bringing his lips closer to Han’s forehead. “What will we do when we get back?”
The silence became heavier than before; almost chocking them. “Who knows…” muttered Lee Know, kissing Han’s forehead. “Should we say something… or?” tried Han to keep the conversation going, only to fail by getting a sigh from Minho. “We can tell Bangchan…” tried Han to resonate. I know, but not now, considering his state, thought Minho, stroking Han’s waist. “We’ll see, no need to think about it at the moment. Relax, Hannie”
Han followed his advice and tried to relax, ending up asleep. Minho just smiled and looked at Han asleep, wanting this moment to never end. The peace, their bodies, the way Han held his hand on his chest… it was all too good.
Meanwhile, the others were talking to I.N. He came out of his room at the wrong moment, only to be literally stopped by Hyunjin and forced to socialize. I.N missed doing that; Bangchan was half asleep the entire time, so talking wasn’t necessarily and option most of the time.
“Did Bangchan like the brownies? I can make more!” suggested Felix getting up, but I.N stopped him.
“No need, Bangchan is full either way.”
Felix nodded and looked at Hyunjin. He sent Changbin and Seungmin to buy some water and some snacks (since I.N ate most of them).
“How’s he though?” said Hyunjin looking over his shoulder at Felix who was visibly worried.
“He’s a bit better… He needs to rest a lot…” answered I.N. “…which means he sleeps a lot and I’m bored nowww” whined I.N.
Felix laughed and joked with I.N while Hyunjin brought some games for I.N. “I found this a while ago in Chan’s studio by mistake” Hyunjin told them, holing up a pack of Uno cards.
