"I'm so tired." Lisa sighed as she threw the dishcloth in her hand on the counter.

Standing behind her, Chaeyoung had a soft smile on her face as Lisa spun around to face her.

The day had been exhausting for them.

They spent most of the day in dance practice and came home to eat some takeout with the plan of just going up to bed to get some sleep.

But Chaeyoung had something else in mind, something she wanted to do before she'd be ready to go up to bed.

Lisa closed her eyes and put her head down, hoping that the stress she felt would wear off as the night with Chaeyoung went on.

"The dishes are done. Can we go up to bed?"

Chaeyoung put her hand on Lisa's back and rubbed her fingers across the skin that was exposed by her spaghetti strap tank top.

"Not yet."

Lisa opened her eyes and turned around to ask her girlfriend why she wasn't ready for bed yet.

But before she got the chance to say the words, soft music began playing over the speakers in the room as Chaeyoung tapped the screen of her phone.

"What's going on?" Lisa asked and her heart started to flutter when Chaeyoung placed a flower in her hand.

"For you. Just because."

Lisa beamed with happiness before she kissed Chaeyoung's cheek softly.

Say you won't let go was playing but, to make the moment even more romantic, Chaeyoung began to serenade Lisa as she put her hands on her hips and pulled her close.

Wrapping her arms around Chaeyoung's neck, Lisa couldn't hide the happiness and love that she felt.

"I know we spent the whole day dancing but this just seemed right," Chaeyoung whispered as her eyes locked with Lisa's.

"It's different. It's better."

"If you want to though, we can just go up to bed. I know that's what you wanted." Chaeyoung joked and Lisa giggled before shaking her head.

"No. This is better." She said as she lowered her head, laying her forehead against Chaeyoung's. "I just felt so stressed."

"But not anymore?"

"Not anymore," Lisa said with a contented sigh. "Everything's better now."

Chaeyoung spun Lisa around, unable to hold back her joyous laughter as Lisa looked so happy at this moment with her.

Hugging her from behind, Chaeyoung put her lips near Lisa's ear as they both closed their eyes and swayed slowly and romantically.

"I'm so in love with you and I hope you know," Chaeyoung sang in Lisa's ear, tucking a lock of her dark hair behind her ear.

Lisa's heart almost burst as she melted into Chaeyoung's arms.

Everything felt so perfect.

Neither of them wanted the moment to end as they danced in the kitchen with the lights dimmed and the song on repeat, singing and whispering the lyrics to each other that meant the most to them.

"I'm gonna love you till my lungs give out." Lisa sang as she put her forehead on Chaeyoung's once more, so close to her girlfriend that she could feel her heartbeat against her own chest.

So lost in the moment, even after the song ended and there was only silence in the air, that didn't stop dancing.

It was only a few minutes later when Chaeyoung spoke up as she caressed Lisa's cheek softly.

"Song is over. Should we go to bed?"

"No," Lisa said.

"Okay." Chaeyoung smiled and then began to hum lover in Lisa's ear, the already romantic moment becoming even more special.

If this is how the next little while could be spent, sleep could wait.

They'd much rather slow dance and bask in these moments with each other.
