The Whispering.

The lights were flashing from color to color, red..blue, red..blue.

The splashing noises of mud being run through and tires swishing by had scared me, making my heart beat faster by the second. I thought it would never end. By the time I had finally found the gas station it was already closed, but I couldn't let them get me, so I did what I thought I had to do, although I didn't want to. I broke in and hid behind the counter doing my best to cover up my tracks. Not like anyone would notice since the place is all run down already anyway. The sound of the sirens getting closer was giving me a headache, and on top of that, the station smelled like spoiled milk and old food. I guess I couldn't really blame the place though, nobody comes here since it's all vacant looking anyway. There were plenty of windows for me to look out of, all cracked up, and some even shattered from the murder the other night. This place gives me the creeps.. But no matter what I'm gonna find who did this. I decided to peek my head out and watch all the police cars dash past me. "Finally, they're gone..." I thought. But that's just it, I 'thought.' Little did I know, it was only the beginning.

It was cold and rainy outside, so I decided to make a nice cup of hot chocolate and bundle up on the couch to watch some TV. The rain was so heavy the channel would hardly load, most of it was just the blurry static that kept coming up on the tv. I was trying to load up "Adventure Time" but the TV just kept saying "Uh Oh, looks like something went wrong, try again or check your wifi connection." I loved that show, my favorite characters were Princess Bubblegum and Marceline. There's nothing I've ever wanted more than a relationship like theirs. School starts up soon, by soon, I mean tomorrow. I say soon because I like to pretend I'm in some fantasy world rather than dreading something all night and worrying myself to death. Highschool... Oh gosh. Now, you may be wondering where my parents are... Well, I don't have any. They both died in a plane wreck back a couple of years ago, 4 to be exact. I was only 12 when they died, then I started learning to take care of myself. Luckily for me, we start dorms tomorrow too.
