The sound of an explosion tore through the air around them, portal forming. The portal quite literally being a rip through space and time, you can see the stars and space, but also the neverending darkness of the abyss, where the creature who stepped out belongs.

A taller than average humanoid figure steps out of the portal, armour covering its entire body, consisting mainly of midnight blue and dark greys, glowing parts on the arms in azure blue, and small details in gold and a turquoise-blue. A big helmet covering its head, with a glowing blue orb in the middle of its chest.

“Prince…” The Abyss Herald had a deep raspy voice, it would almost sound menacing, if only the twins hadn’t heard it many times before. “Come back, come back to us… Rule the abyss! You know how horrible this world is…”

Lumine just looked at them in disbelief, had her brother, the prince of the abyss, really left the abyss? She looked over to aether, he had fear in his eyes… Wait, fear? The amount of tears running down his face only increased, his eyes wide, shaking his head. She just had to ask what was going on, or she’ll never forget it.

The other two turned to face her, the abyss herald was wearing a helmet, so she couldn’t tell what he was thinking, but her brother? He still had the same expression as before, but she could see fire in his eyes, determination, but she knew he was still too afraid to do anything.

“Your… Brother… Has decided to leave the abyss. He knows the consequences, so either he comes back to ruling after a small… Punishment… Or his beloved sister will face the consequences instead.”

Aether’s eyes widened even more, if that was even possible, he completely forgot that his sister would face the repercussions of his actions if he didn’t return. He knew his sister was strong, but not strong enough to face the punishment from the abyss. He left because they were starting to disrespect him, in addition, he did even choose to rule these creatures, he was forced. That was when that one-sided deal happened, and he was given the warning. However, over the span of the 500 years he’s been doing this, he forgot. How could he have forgotten!?

There was only one option to do; Run.

He grabbed his sister’s hand, stumbling along the massive roots around the tree, sprinting across the green fields with his sister in tow. That attempt, however, was futile. Another portal, identical to the previous one, appeared in front of them. They turned to run in another direction, but before they could move, abyss mages appeared blocking every exit away. They had no choice; they had to fight them.

Lumine unsheathed her sword, positioning herself for a fight. Dashing toward the two floating beings; both with spherical elemental shields. One made of an almost transparent blue ice, colder than the harsh snezhnayan winters, the other, crystalline lava, burning hot to the touch, but is solid as metal. Rushing back and forth, dodging the razor sharp icicles, or the blazing flames headed towards her. Once she is close enough that the mages can be caught in the radius of her power, she unleashes a massive wind current, capable of rivalling a tornado. When the wind current releases, it remains on field, sucking in all nearby opponents, whilst also swirling the elements of the abyss mages, breaking all the shields of the contrasting elements. After the shields have broken, the affected mages temporarily lose consciousness. Using this short time period to her advantage, she shrinks the wind currents, gathering all of the unconscious mages together in one spot. She moves quickly toward the group, gripping tightly on her trusty dull blade sword, she does 4 rapid strikes in succession to each other, and on the final blow, she sent a wave of her anemo wind current toward the mages, finishing them off.
