It all started on October 8, 2021 when two idols from different groups where chosen to be the new mc's for a show called Music Bank. A introvert from a group named Enhypen, "Park Sunghoon" the name of the new male mc for Music Bank and an Extrovert from a group named IVE, "Jang Wonyoung" the name of the new female mc of Music Bank. Their first performance together, was when they danced Butter by BTS.
After their performance, they introduced themselves as "Jangkku" with their names merged together. "Jang" for Jang Wonyoung and "Baekgu" which means "the white puppy" they used kku instead of gu because he said he looks like a rabbit and has a similar character as a penguin. After their performance, they would introduce new hot debuts and new comebacks from other groups and interview them about their new comebacks.
