Ladybug ran across rooftops, sobbing. She didn't have an ounce of hope left. HawkMoth had taken every miraculous that was in the box.
She lost.
Ladybug heard her earrings beep in her ears. Tikki needed a break. She needed a break. But she couldn't stop running. She wanted to escape.
A final beep came from her earrings as she heard someone yell: "Ladybug!"
The earrings turned black and Ladybug turned into Marinette. The shock of the transformation caused Marinette to freeze in mid-jump.
"Plagg! Claws Out!" The same voice was heard again. Adrien? Suddenly, Cat Noir pole-vaulted right passed Marinette, using one of his arms to wrap around her torso and catch her. They then landed in between two buildings Ladybug ran across moments ago. Out of breath, the same voice said, "Ladybug?"
Marinette met the eyes of Cat Noir. They weren't just his though. "Adrien?"
