In Another World?!

Another boring subject has passed, at least it was for Yasuhiro Furukawa. Some students attentively listened to the lecture but most were disinterested and were listening due to obligation. As the class ended, the teacher prepared to leave the classroom and picked up his teaching materials. The teacher reminded the students to study for the upcoming exam before leaving the classroom for a break.

The moment the teacher left the classroom, it became lively with the students leaving their seats for their friends. Yasuhiro tidied up his table and went to his group of friends. One of his friends noticed him walking toward them and waved at him energetically.

"Hey, Yasuhiro! You up to crash on Ross' house later for a gaming night?"

"Why is it always at my house!?"

"It's 'cause you got all the good stuff!" He replied casually.

Yasuhiro smiled and sat next to them. 

"I can't go with you guys right now. It's my turn right now to buy groceries. Also is Toru absent right now? I don't see him here."

"Yeah. He said he got a bad case of flu. Maybe Ross and I can visit him before going to Ross' house. I can even give him cookies and chocolate and a card saying 'Get better soon.'" He said jokingly.

As the students in the class mingle with each other, they didn't notice the dull glow that was emanating from the floor.

[Starting Summoning Sequence...]

The door to the classroom opened and a young brown-haired woman entered. As the class noticed her entering the room, they stood up and greeted their teacher.

"Good morning Sensei!"

[Forming World Tunnel...]

"What is that!" one of the students exclaimed, pointing at the floor.

Both the teacher and the students glanced at the floor. Surprise filled their faces as they saw brilliantly glowing symbols underneath their feet.

One of the students, panicked, ran to the door, and tried to escape from the classroom. To his dread, the door wouldn't open no matter how hard she tried to open it. One of them shook in anticipation, excitedly looking at the marvel beneath his feet.

[Connection Established. Bridging Point A to Point B...]

A flash of light, and all that remained in the classroom was a mess of overturned chairs and papers scattered throughout.

[Operation Complete. Shutting Down World Tunnel...]

Blinding light assaulted my senses and persistent ringing traveled through my ears. I blinked my eyes to get rid of the black spots in my vision. As I look around, I could see myself and my classmates lying on the floor. My vision was still quite blurry but I could see pillars made of marble and a glass ceiling above us, showering our whole surroundings with light. 

From the corner of my eye, I could see other people standing around us from underneath the elevated platform we were in. Some wore pure white robes and were quite old, while some wore unique outfits for each of them. As I was contemplating who those people were, some of my classmates and our teacher stood up and looked around in confusion.

One person who was wearing a white robe noticed their actions and ran hurriedly to another individual wearing a much more decorated robe and an ornate staff in his hand.

"Oh Heroes from the Great Beyond! Please hear our plea and save us from disaster!"

The moment those words entered my ears, my mind was whirling in shock. Did we just get isekaid?! I strongly pinched my cheeks to see if this was just a dream and the only thing I got from it was just red cheeks and pain. I looked around to see my classmates' reactions to make sure I am hearing it right. I could see the shock and surprise on some of my classmates' faces.
