Prologue
╚══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══╝
It was well-known that the Duchy of Seibert produced heirs endowed with extraordinary abilities.
According to legend, they descended from a hero and a fairy, one beloved of the Gods and the other by mana and nature. People claimed that the Seibert could have easily taken the throne from any king they had ever served. However, the Seibert family remained steadfast and obedient to the throne.
As a result, the people's hopes for a peaceful and civilized nation were shattered. The kings, however, were overjoyed to learn this.
The Seibert dukedom has welcomed a new heir today.
The entire continent trembled in indignation and mounting hope. A newborn infant who possesses the skills and abilities that the legends lived.
Acerid Seibert.
A genius.
Talented.
A hero.
Loved by all.
His ill-fated ninth birthday then arrived. Everything he came into contact with burned to crisps. No one knew how the curse started and why.
What was supposed to be a hero became the devil.
Destructive.
A power that nobody can stop.
Every one was terrified.
Acerid imagined his life to continue that way.
~Fourth of Fall, the III, 500 BCE
"All preparations, Your grace, have been finished."
A young knight offered a polite bow to the man standing on the window.
"Well done,"
The knight backed away from the man and flung open the door for him to walk through. To come too close to the man would be the same as being burned alive. As it was expected that he would be treated in such a manner, he did not pay attention to such matters.
The Baron of Vesci's actions were labeled as a form of treason on the edict of his Royal Highness. It was simple: tonight, the head of Baron Vesci will come rolling across a crimson carpet tonight. along with its family and servants. Along with its family and servants.
The king would never allow anyone to survive. They knelt and pleaded for their lives while they trembled in terror.
One made a wrong move to touch the duke's shoe, saying, "Please, your grace! Help us! We haven't committed any wrongdoing! "
His hands immediately caught fire after that short contact.
"—Aahhhh!! It hurts and it's hot! "
" Duke Seibert! "
As they yelled his name, the knights raised their swords to aim at the neck of the servant ho was daring enough to come close to the duke.
"You dare!"
He removed his gloves while signaling to his knights to take a step back by extending his hand. He asked while on his knees in front of the servant.
"Must I spare your life? Or should I spare the life of Baron Vesci? "The eyes of the servant sparkled with greed.
"Me! Please save me! It would be preferable for that Baron to die! I can serve you ! please! for the rest of my life! You have my complete devotion! "
"So please, save me! "
"If so, grasp my hand,"
"W-what?" The servant stumbled.
No living soul is unaware of the Duke's curse! Is he urging me to commit suicide?!
"What are you holding back for? Don't you intend to serve me for the rest of your life? I can't even be touched, how can you serve me? "
"Will you blow air for me? produce oxygen? "The servant tried to flee away but in vain. *It cried out in agony.
Due to the Duke's tight grip on his head, his skull began to burn.
This was your chance to witness a human head melting if you haven't already. However, I can't guarantee that it wouldn't cause you to experience any kinds of trauma.
The servant dropped dead without a head.
A deafening silence reigned on that place. No one dared to open their mouths, until one yelled in fear and horror.
"D-devil!"
And as if the crowd had learned how to speak again, shouts and screams enveloped the whole place. Cursing and pleading for their lives. "It is the devil!"
The Duke beamed at their hopelessness and ordered his knights,
"Kill them"

NOTES
╰┈┈┈┈╯Fourth of Fall, the III, 500 BCE.
Please be understanding with the logics of the universe I have created, as 500 BCE does not imply much to the era and timeline of our planet (earth) because I am completely ignorant when it comes to computing those things.
Ex: Fourth of fall, the III, 500 BCE :
Literally: Day 4th of November in the year 500 (September – 1, oct – 2, nov – 3 {Fall season})
same for {Year 500 Day 16 of December: Sixteenth of Winter, the I, 500 BCE.}
Please forgive my absurd logic.
But you can just overlook this and get on with the story anyway so...
*Notice what I did there? Instead of using any proper pronouns for the servant I used the word: "It" Lolololol.
Also Head and death rhyme really well. I like that. HAHAHAHA .
