Queen Lily felt that, now that she had won, she could sit back and admire her prize. The dragonet she had caught had beautiful wings, a gradient of ambery red and black. She also appeared to have a tail barb, but it was more like a spike.
She might even be the most beautiful dragon on Pyrriha, Lily thought. Wait... no.. that can't be right... I am the most beautiful dragon on Pyrriha.
The Queen shifted uncomfortably at the thought. She is quite a beautiful catch. I bet if I put her up for decoration, I could host a party in her honor.
Lily nodded at the idea. She loved parties and liked it even more when she had an excuse to throw one.
And, she mused to herself, the dragonet was just as pretty as that gemstone. If the time came, she was sure that Queen Luna would do a trade.
But for now, she was just a pretty decoration.
"Guards," Lilly said, in a particularly good mood.
"What? Your majesty," one of them asked.
"I want the prisoner."
"Yes, your majesty," said the same guard. He was her favorite, but she never let him know that.
The guard glided out of the room. Lily settled herself back into her throne and waited. And waited... The sound of the scuffle reached her five minutes after the guard left.
"Here, your majesty. The prisoner," said the guard. He entered the room, literally dragging the dragonet across the floor. Her sharp black claws made horrible scraping sounds on the stone floor.
"Thank you, now leave," Queen Lily said stiffly. The guard bowed and edged out of the room.
Lily smiled. "What a pretty type of dragon you are," she said sweetly. "Why don't you tell me what you are."
"Never," Rosefire yelped.
"Yes you will," Queen Lilly snapped, getting angry. She snapped her mouth shut and started to calm herself down. Think about the party, she told herself.
"NO I WON'T!" yelled Rosefire at the top of her lungs. "I WON'T TELL YOU ANYTHING!" Then, in a much quieter voice, she added, "I just want to go home."
Lily called in the guards and watched as the dragonet was dragged out of the room. Tears streamed down the dragonet's snout.

"Are you ok," Otter said quietly.
"No," Rosefire said, still crying "I miss my family."

Lilly was seething. She had never been talked back to by one of her prisoners before. Rosefire was the first. And she would be the last.
She'll break easily, Lily thought angrily. She took a deep breath and called for the prisoner.
"Get on that tree now," Lily snapped.
"WHY," yelled Rosefire. All of Rosefire's whining was getting on Lily's nerves.
"Because I said so," Lily snarled. "On the tree, NOW!"
The guard holding the dragonet began to shove her onto the golden tree, forcefully jamming her wrists into the metal cuffs.
"No! No please let me off!" Rosefire said with tears in her eyes.
"Not going to happen, SunsetWing," Lily snapped with enough venom in her voice that it could have killed. "We're about to have some real fun."
