'You know i met a very cute first year last night.' I said to Riven when i noticed he was scrolling though his own instagram page.
'A first year? God you are just like Sky.' He replied.
'You too, you didn't think i'd notice you and that guy flirting yesterday.' I told him.
'That wasnt flirting, i was just being nice.' He replied.
'Nice, ofcourse.' I said.

Since I didn't have any lessons I decided i could tagg along with Harper and the pretty first year from yesterday.
'Magic lives in the very fabric of nature.' Miss dowling told us.
'And here in our circle of stone, its magnified, the Vessel tests your ability to channel that magic. Later, you may learn to connect with other elements, but your first year is all about the element you were born with.'

The earth fairies may come first.' Dowling said and all the earth fairy first years one by one showed of their abilities.
'Soil, sand, rock and all manner of plant life.'

Then came water.
'Water. The lakes and oceans of the world, or the molecules that exist in all organisms around us.'

Then came the mind fairies
'The mind, thoughs, memories, dreams.

Then sound
'Sound, music, noise, harmony.'
Ofcourse Harper was first, showing of her powers
[picture above this chapter]

And then Air.
'Speed, temperature. Its power and electrical properties.'
I saw the first year from last night step up, so she was an air fairy...

'Whatever your element, the emotions underlying it are all the same for fairies.' Dowling said and nodded at Bloom. She stepped in front of the bowl, trying to find her magic.
'Open yourself up to the magic of the world around you.' Dowling spoke.

Bloom tried to sumon her magic, i could see that she was struggling.
'Push past you doubts.'
Bloom tried again, this time i could see flames apearing for a second.
'Focus on clear, positive feelings.'
Students around me were whispering things like: "why is she taking so long." The bitches, i bet they would want others to talk like that about themselves.
'How about your parents focus on them, focus on how much you love them?' Aisha suggested.
Bloom tried again, nothing.

'Its not working.' She said.
'Stop thinking, magic comes from-.' Dowling started.
'Emotions. I've been listening. I know what I'm supposed to do.' Bloom interupted her.
'This is a disaster.' Musa wispered.
'Come on dont be rude.' I replied.

'Its not happening. Can you please move on?' Bloom asked sounding a but sad.
Dowling nodded.

After we were done i went to the specialist training, where Riven and Sky were waiting for me at one of the many fighting platforms.

'Look who decided to come!' Riven said.
'Hello to you too.' I replied.
'Your late.' Sky said.
'And i dont care.' I replied.

'Sweep the leg!' Riven wisper-yelled at the first year who i discovered had the named Dane and another maybe fisrt year who i dont rememer.
'Could you try being 50% less of a dick?' I asked.
'Well i'd be 50% less of fun.' Riven replied.
'Remember what a lost cause you were last year?' Sky said.
'Two black eyes and a sprained ankle, day one.'
I chuckled at remembering a helpless injurred Riven.
'What do you want, a handy for taking me under you wings?' Riven asked.
'I thought my friendship was reward enough.'
'It is.' Sky replied, patting Riven on him cheek before he walked away.
