A week passed, leaving Max, Rex, and Zoe to return from Egypt. Jess had spent a while with Mia since then, the blond feeling relieved since Mia didn't even have a dinosaur or a stone, to begin with, but unfortunately, Mia had to leave that day.

This leads us up to now, Jess sitting in hers and Rex's room as she read a book called 'The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: The Untold Story of a Lost World' she got from Mia, meanwhile Rex was reading his new book about dinosaurs, which was limited edition.

Ace, Rex's partner, a Carnotaurus, was running around the twins' room and often knocking things down.

"There you are from the old days, Ace!" Rex hummed, completely unaware of the mess his partner was making. "Man, this limited edition book was worth every penny of those five months of allowance." the blond spoke to himself as he looked through his book.

Ace continued to run around the room, before he jumped onto Jess' bed, causing her to jump slightly and lower her book, staring at the blue Carnotaurus as he stared back at her until he jumped towards her and tapped the necklace that was hidden under her shirt and jacket. This action caused Jess' eyes to widen since she never said anything about the necklace she found nor had she shown it to anyone, so how did Ace know? she missed the low red glow the necklace gave off before Ace jumped off her bed again and started trashing the room.

"Hey Ace, could you calm down a little bit?" Rex spoke as he crossed his arms, watching as Ace walked over and stood on top of his book page. "I'm trying to read here," he said, looking down at his book when Ace ran off of it. "Huh?" he mumbled as he saw dirty footprints on the page. "GAH! Look what you did to my new book! It's totally ruined now!" Rex scolded, which made Jess jump slightly as she put her book down and walked over to inspect the damage, just as Ace ran back over and began to lick the dirty page.

This only added to Rex's anger. "Now there's spit all over it!"

Ace flinched back at Rex raising his voice, as he jumped into Jess' arms, catching her off guard. "Go downstairs, please!" a voice spoke as Ace looked at the blond, who froze at the voice. But, as if her body was on autopilot, she went down the stairs with Ace in her arms and outside to where Max and Zoe were playing with their dinosaurs and talking about Dr. Taylor who was in a museum in London to see if a possible stone was there due to a picture they received, Rex not that far behind them.

"Ace! Jess!, hold on! get back here!" Rex called as Jess chose to stand behind Max and Chomp while holding Ace in her arms.

"What's the matter, Rex?" Max asked his friend, glancing back at Jess and Ace for a moment.

"Ace just totally ruined my brand new collectible dinosaur book!" Rex exclaimed, hands on his waist. "And Jess is helping him get away with it!"

Max looked back at the two who were hiding behind him upon hearing that. "What did he do?" he asked as Ace hid in Jess' shoulder.

"He stomped all over it and got the pages all mucked up!" Rex grumbled as he pointed to his partner accusingly.

"I really don't see what the big deal is?" Zoe frowned as she pulled her hands away from Paris. "why can't you just wipe them off?"

The gang looked towards Zoe, as Rex kept pointing at Ace. "No need to, he licked them off with his slobbery tongue!" he exclaimed which made Zoe and Max cringe. "Then he jumped into Jess' arms and she ran off with him!" he raised his voice slightly.

"Well, at least he was trying to help!" Zoe tried to help Ace, noticing the small flinch Jess did when Rex raised his voice while Ace cowered more into Jess.

"Anyone hungry?" Aki's voice called out from inside the house as she brought a couple of drinks and food over to the table, as the kids looked over, the older woman smiling. "Zoe, I see you had a little dog follow you home as well." she hummed, noticing Paris who Zoe tried hiding.
