I came home to see that Wilbur put the clean litter box down and washed his hands with Pepper on his shoulders. He couldn't see me because I peeked my head in. Then he put Pepper on the floor after gently kissing he head. Then there was George, who was boiling the kettle, maybe for a nice cup of tea. I walked in and Pepper immediately ran to me, sniffing my leg but then rubbing her head against it and wrapping her tail around me. I instantly picked her up to cuddle her, and Wilbur smiled at me. I walked over to him and gave him a hug.
"Hello!"
"Heeyy, how was work?" he caressed my hair and I leaned on his shoulder. I looked over to Matt who was hugging George and talking about something.
"It didn't go so well," Wilbur pulled me into a side hug.
"How come?"
"Well, I was actually enjoying work for once, until I s-saw David.. and Matt calmed me down."
He went silent and grimaced slightly AGAIN.
"I had a panic attack."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I wish I was there,"
"Don't worry, it wasn't your fault."
"Y/n, we.. we need to talk." I gulped.
"Okay.." I took Pepper off my lap and we walked to my room.
"Y/n.."
"Yeah..?"
"I.. I can't do it anymore."
"D-Do.. wh..what..??"
"I ju- Well- It's just that you always talk about Matt."
"Wh-"
"Matt, Matt, Matt. It's like you're replacing me."
"But Will he's literally my roo-"
"No, we're breaking up."
"W- WHAT?!?!"
"I feel like you like hi-"
"Wilbur he's fucking gay, and he's literally tak-"
"I don't care, we're done."
"What?!?!"
And he walked out just like that.
How could he just do this to me?!? He was acting a bit weird though, caressing my hair?? He never does that. What happened to him??
I curled up into a ball and Pepper immediately came to my side and started to sniff me. She licked my cheek and I picked her up to cuddle whilst still curled up in a ball.

Moments later George rushed into my room, I'm guessing it's because I cried so loud.
I let Pepper on the floor and he pulled me into a hug.
He sat beside me, and Matt saw me and picked up his speed. He knelt in front of me and hugged me tightly. They both sat beside me and I somehow ended up ranting to them for half an hour.
"Well, he said he needed to talk, we went into our room and he said he couldn't do it anymore, I was like 'what?!?' and he said that I always talk about Matt but I kept saying he just comforts me all the time and he's gay and he's already dating someone but he just wouldn't listen and.. and,"
"Well, did he seem suspicious at all when we came home?" Matt asked.
"I mean, yeah, when I tell him about my day, he always holds my hand, but he didn't do that.."
"Well, what did he do?" George turned his head to me.
"He caressed my hair, which he never does. I just don't know what t- actually, every time I said anything about Matt, he would always pull a slightly disgusted face, and he said that he thought I was replacing Matt with him."
"Well, does he have an.. ex maybe?" Matt suggested.
"Well yeah, Sally, but what has that got to do with anything??"
He completely ignored my question, "Has he mentioned her lately? Does she not.. sound right? I guess?"
"I mean, he has once, on text, when we were making up, George would know, it was after a discord call on my first day here. But no she sounds like a normal person..?"

After a while they left me alone so I could calm down, plus Pepper would help me with that. It's almost like Wilbur's stealing Pepper from me too, I saw how she crawled on his shoulder, she would never do that with me. I love him so much, I would go to him before my own brother.
