Chilly September nights had always been Ei's favorite, with a spooky season just around the corner her school, Celestia High, was busy decorating. Although Ei was quite cold to people, she enjoyed the frights and scares that are to be awaited at her school's annual Halloween festival. This year she had decided to dress up as a Shogun for the festival and scare middle schoolers who visit the school to enjoy the festivities.
-school bell rings-
"Ei!" Hu Tao called out
It was the end of the day and Ei was sure that this girl was going to talk about the school's festivities with her, so she decided to stop and wait.
"Whew, thanks for waiting! I just wanted to ask what your class has decided on this year."
Hu Tao could have asked anyone but since Ei was the class president, she decided that it would be best to ask the leader. Hu Tao was the frights planner, meaning she was in charge of ordering decorations and props for the school, using the budget she was given, which was quite a hefty amount since Ayaka Kamisato asked her parents to donate. Ei quickly answered with a-
"We decided to dress up as a dead government system, with me being the shogunate." She continued, "Sara is the Commissioner and I have yet to find anyone in our class to step up to be the Shrine Presitist."
"I hear there's a new transfer to your class Ei, you should meet up and ask her." Tao said with a smirk. Apparently, she was done talking cause afterward she just skipped off.
Ei walked out the school hoping to get home and sleep, so she did not hinder her day tomorrow. Before she was able to step out of the school gates a pink haired student suddenly trips from behind her and falls onto her abruptly. "Wah!" they both yelped while falling. The girl was draped over Ei in quite the odd position, she quickly got up and offered her hand to Ei. "I'm so sorry Mrs. President!" she bowed with her hand still out. Ei gratefully took it and replied, "It's okay, and please, don't call me Mrs. President. Ei will do." She kept her straight face while the girl stopped her bow and retracted her hand. "I guess it would only be right then for you to call me Miko, Ei." She flashed a quick smile at her and looked down for a second. "Oh, Ei, your knee. Here, my house is close by, I would feel bad if I didn't help you." Ei just nodded and took the help.
Around an eight-minute walk later, Ei had arrived at Miko's house. As the girls walked in, they slid their shoes off and replaced them with slippers. "Miko, where are your parents?" She questioned the girl. "My mother is a writer and father is a painter. Naturally they spend lots of time in their studies doing what they like." Responded Miko. "Oh."
Ei followed her around to the bathroom where she pulled out her medicine kit. She mentions to Ei to sit on the toilet seat, she takes out her disinfectant and cotton swabs to help dab it on. Ei winces at the pain, which only lasted for a brief moment before relaxing her leg. Miko was laser focused on Ei's injury that she couldn't even tell her hand was on her thigh.
Oblivious, Miko continued to work on Ei's knee. Once done she put a cute purple starry band aid on the scratch. "There! All done!", "Doesn't look too bad if I must say so myself." she boasted, looking proudly up for a second before completely standing up. "Yeah, looks good." Ei replied with a slight blush from embarrassment because of the band aid she has on. However, she quickly stood up and realized just how close the two girls are when crammed in that bathroom. Miko filed out with Ei right behind her. The pink haired girl stopped and turned, "Ei, you don't happen to have the last name Raiden, do you?", "Oh, it seems you already know who I am." Ei was confused. Miko laughed to herself then turned away while walking to the door. Ei followed and slipped off the slippers that were on the step of Miko's house. "Oh um, thank you, Miko.", "It's the least I could do." Miko replied with a caring grin.
Sorry, this is so short! This is just an introduction to the story and more will hopefully be coming when I have time!
