John was a crazy person which he was well aware of the fact. He had dated many girl and dumped them after no longer worth in use. Rebecca Bluegarden was different from the other girls that he had previously dated.

He loves her like hell even through the latter herself had dumped him out of spite. He knows that he regrets letting her go and would do anything to make her become his again. John's jealous was off the wall when he sees her with a different guy: friend or not.
