2ND PERSSON POV
You didn't even realize what was happening until it was already done. After living in America for the past 3 years, you were moving back to Japan. Your parents decided it would be a good idea to move back to Japan for the next year or so, and as a result, you had to leave everything you had grown to love behind. While you were able to talk with your friends, you feared you would eventually lose contact with them.
You sighed, staring at your new, yet familiar, childhood room. You stare at the twin-sized bed in the corner of the room, along with the many boxes you had yet to sort through. Sitting on the bed, feeling the blanket that you wished you could curl into and sleep the days away was a slight comfort in the house you had to reside in.
After a few days of planning, your parents finally decided you would spend your school days with your cousin, Reita. You hadn't seen him in a while, but from what you remember he was always considered your best friend growing up. Your father gave you your cousins' phone number a day beforehand, "Catch up with him, you'll do just fine." He had said the words with care, hoping you would be able to settle for a while until you had to move once more. Despite this, you had yet to text Reita, your thoughts getting the better of you and causing you to put it as the last thing to do once you arrived.
You leaned back against the mattress and pillows, looking at the phone in your hand, your cousin ready to be contacted at any time. Did he even know you were coming? You questioned the possibilities.
There was a sudden knock at your door, followed by a familiar voice. "<NAME>! Why didn't you say you were coming!" Your cousin came through the door, his purple hair the only thing recognizable in his features. You smile, waving with a shrug.
"I meant to text you, but I got sidetracked. Moving is stressful, y'know?" Your words are relaxed at the familiar face.
Reita gave you a high five, grinning ear to ear. His smile was contagious, and you couldn't help but let a smile of your own appear on your face. You sigh dramatically, plopping back on your bed with a groan.
"Im exhausted," You huff. "I'm not even a quarter done with unpacking." You frown slightly, glancing back at the boxes scattered in your room.

(NOTE: At this point, I had given up on the story. As I mentioned, this was made in 2019, so I don't remember what I was planning for this story. I might continue, but it hasn't really been decided yet lol. Maybe if someone actually likes this little draft I might finish the first couple chapters.)
