One Shots

Theera Payanam - Shot 2

Charu drove through the dense forest searching for an apat place to tent that night. She stopped her bike at a spot which has a narrow path covered with trees on both sides. She turned the handle of her bike to look at the path before she drove through it. She drove a few metres through the path before she parked her bike and got out of it. She took out a torch from her bag that was tight to the back seat and walked a few distance to be dumbstruck with the view in front of her. A few metres away from where she was standing, a beautiful stream of river ran down which made her decide to camp there that night.

Removing her jacket she walked towards the stream and settled on a rock. She rubbed herself to get warm when a cold breeze hit her, the sound of the stream indulged her interest to take a dip but the coldness that hit her when she tried to dip her feet made her back off from the idea.

Sighing, she walked back to her bike and unloaded her three huge luggage that were tied to the back seat. She unpacked one of the bag and took out the parts of the tent and started building her tent.

She sighed when the tent was ready after fifteen minutes before she moved her luggages into the tent which could easily accommodate two people.

She zipped up the tent opening before she discarded her dress to change into a night wear. She was buttoning up her shirt when she found a shadow fall on her tent and frowned. With the shadow she found it must of a human but just to cosious she took out a electric stun gun and slowly peeked out of the tent.

She frowned when she could not anyone but went into alert mode when she heard some noise from behind. She turned and tiptoed to the place where the noise was heard and stretched out the stun gun when she found a man figure approaching her.

She tried to hide her panic and attack the man when she found him walking away from her directions with something that looked like a knife.

Still being bold she walked to him and tapped on his shoulders and the moment he turned to her she tackled him and pushed the thing from his hand. Before she could look at his face she tripped on a stone and fell on him pushing him to the ground causing both to groan.

When both were out of the initial shock they frowned at each other for a few seconds before they said " neengala ? " In chorus.

" Yenga neengala ena kapathitu neenga ipadi panalam ah ? " Siva asked Charu with a sad pout.

Charu: Sorry ga.. just a self defence..

Siva: Nala defence… Amma.. inaiku yaru moonjila mulichano.. adi vangita irukan..

Charu chuckled but suppressed when he glared at her while a pleasantful silence creeped in. Charu frowned when Siva looked down with raised eyebrows and when she followed his eyesight she gasped before jerking and getting up from him and patting the mud from her dress.  

Siva mv: keela pakamala irunthu irukalam..

Siva: yenga thali Vita matum pathathu.. thooki vidanum..

Charu: sorry sorry… she said with a sheepish smile.

Charu stretched her hand for him and once he got hold of her hand she pulled him with such ease.

Siva: wow.. sema strong ga neenga..

Charu smiled before bending to pick her stun gun before looking at him.

Charu: ithu compliment ah illa judgement..

Siva: Ayoo illa ga compliment tha..

Charu nodded with a smile that twisted something in him.

He never thought he would get a chance to meet her once again this soon. He was upset for not getting her details and started riding aimlessly until he found a narrow path on the right side of the road. Without realizing what pulled him towards the way he drove through the path for meters and walked aimlessly. He was surprised to find a tent there and searched to find traces of any person until charu attacked him. He was a bit scared at first but finding her on top of him his happiness knew no bounds for finding her soon.
