Canada's POV
I sat in the small field next to the forest. I had made a friend and they were supposed to meet me today. A breeze ran by me and it was quite heavy. The small note book sat in my lap flew open to a new page. I picked up my pencil and looked around. Might as well doodle him a gift. A small yellow bird sat atop a roof and tweeted a song. I drew that. He was a cute bird and was kind of chubby making him appear to be a small ball.
I adjusted my glasses and looked down at my drawing. A small bird was on a tree, since that looked more majestic than a roof, and his mouth was open. Music notes flew from his little beak and into the sky. I was rather impressed with my drawing. I didn't even realize a shadow had loomed over me.
"Its cute." A loud, scratchy voice said. I jumped as I didn't expect my friend to be stranding right there. I looked up.
"O-oh. Thanks..." I stuttered. My voice was quiet because I am very shy.
"Alrighty," he said and sat beside me. "You draw a lot?"
"Erm not really, I just wanted to make something for you." I said an tore out the page. I gave it to him timidly.
"This is seriously awesome," he shouted, looking at the picture once more. "And that's coming from me!" I loved his accent. How he made 't' and 'h' turn into a 'z' and 'w' 'v'. It was very adorable.
A little yellow fluffy ball landed in his snow white hair.
"That's the bird I saw singing." I pointed out.
"Gil, were you singing a pretty song?" He asked. His little bird tweeted the song again he began laughing. Then singing along, loudly but it wasn't that bad. "Dareka ga yonderu ore wo yondeiru ii ze makasetoke! Izuke motto! Motto!"

When the song was over I laughed and clapped. "You're not too bad." I said, grinning.
"I think it would be more appropriate to say, I'm very awesome. So are you, Birdie." He grinned at me. Birdie?
"Birdie?"
"Ja."
He leaned over and hugged me, then patted my head. "You're awesome. I'm going to remember you, Matthew."
I blushed and teared up. No one ever remembers me. I hugged him, making us both fall over. "I'll remember you too," I mumbled. I'll never forget the day we met.
