Drake models himself after Kiritsugu Emiya after watching the man kill his abusive father in front of him, saving his life. Kiritsugu gives the Father's Paradox Origin Magic Crests to Drake before disappearing. Drake used what arcane knowledge he could find in his late father's room to activate them, awakening his infamous Dark Matter Circuits as well as his own mysterious Magic Crest as well.

His Arsenal being unable to properly mimic Kiritsugu's due to the era, Drake modernizes it by stealing from a high end military contractor and puts his own spin on it by having the sword he was meant to inherit after his father passed while still honoring his inspiration by wielding the Calico M950. He substitutes Kiri's Origin Bullets with Matter Rounds, using his blood as the catalyst for their production. Matter Rounds detonate violently when coming into contact with anything considered to be Matter.

Cosmic Horror is a nickname given to him by the Mage Association of The Clocktower, because his aptitude for manipulating the facets of reality is only a power afforded to Eldritch Beings. He even warps reality around himself to hide his identity, appearing as though the air formed a blur in front of his face.

Weapons:

Drake's Sorcery Traits are Cosmic and Projection, allowing him to temporarily imbue his weapons with cosmic power and create weapons out of the endless resource that is cosmic energy as well as making celestial bodies.

In the way Avalon changes Shirou's Origin to Sword, Drake took an ancient Japanese rifle belonging to a certain Sengoku period warlord and embedded it to himself. It caused his Origin to become both Ordinance and Demon, granting him an affinity for guns and explosives while making him more effective against spiritual enemies.
