Little things

It was midnight, everyone was sleeping peacefully in their room after chaotic and hectic day to handle all the wedding arrangements but there came Anika walking some direction while using her mobile torch yawning in night suit and slippers, that's when she heard some noises from the direction she heading to , kitchen ....She walked few more steps and there she saw shadow moving in kitchen and also little light too

Anika ( to herself) : ye itni raat ko kaun jaag raha hai ?? Kahi kisi aur ko bhi mere jesi bhuk to nhi lagi hogi ....are yarr ek to muze pehle hi kuch banana nhi ata upar se jo koi bhi andar hai usne jo bacha hua fridge me khaya hoga to muze to bhuka sona padega aur muze abhi fruits khake bhi nhi Sona ( saying she hurrily went to kitchen but because of low light get hit by a corner and her toe got unbalanced, making her almost kiss the ground but got saved by two arms ultimately) Oouchhh !!! Are mein giri nhi and that's when she heard " Are you alright?" And obviously she knows the owner of that voice
" Shivay " saying she moved torch on towards his face to get clear glimpse that's when shivaay quickly closes his eyes tight making Anika Stand properly

Shivay: Uff! Ye light durr kro aankhon se , aur ye itni raat mein kya kr rahi ho kitchen mein

Anika quickly moved light to other direction: Wo mein ....wo ....meri chodiya aap kya kr rahe hai yahapr is wkt ( well she's Anika she never ans to shivay first you know)

Shivay: yahi baat ka jawab pehle tum dedo fir mein batata hu

Anika stammering: ahh mein to Pani pine ayi thi room mein khtm ho gya tha ( saying she walks towards fridge, staring whole fridge while getting a bottle finding something to eat but her badluck nothing was left , she took a bottle and drank amount of water ) wese apne nhi bataya aap itne raat me kya kr rahe hai

Shivay : wo actually , muze midnight cravings ho rahi thi to dekhne chala Aya kuch hai kya but yaha kuch nhi hai ....tumhe bhuk nhi lagi ?

Anika : wese sach batau to mein bhi yahi dekhne ayi thi....bhuk to lagi hai lekin kuch hai nhi aur muze fruits and juices nhi chahiye

Shivay : achaa  koi baat nhi mein apne liye kuch banane ki soch hi Raha tha apke liye bhi bana dunga ( he turns on the lights of kitchen )

Anika excitedly: Sach mein aap bana denge mereliye ( cuz she was in no mood to just cook for herself so when shivay asked she got excited)

Shivaay: ofc why not , bataye aap kya khana chahengi

Anika : aesa kuch bhi jo fatafat se bane

Shivay checked fridge: hmare paas bread hai to grilled sandwich ban skte hai and also sauces bhi hai to if you like pasta hum wo bhi bana skte hai . Ha ye jaldi ban skta hai hume srf pasta boiled Krna hai fir mix krke microwave mein garam krdenge

Anika : ha ye achaa idea hai , mein apki help krti hu

Shivaay looked at her amazingly : Pasta boil krne mein ?

Anika smiled sheepishly: veggies cut krne mein pasta mein wo bhi to jayenge na pasta boil hone tk Veggies stir fry kr dete hai ( Saying she took veggies out of fridge and started to cut it after washing and shivay puts pasta to boil , soon both of them finished their respective work so shivay proceed further to keep pasta bowl in microwave after adding veggies and sauces ) Cheese add karna to reh gaya , muze pasta mein bohot Sara cheese bohot pasand hai ek min ( she took cheese out from fridge and grated it over pasta )

Shivay : done now ? Shall we proceed?

Anika : yes sir (shivay smiled on the way she said it and put the bowl in microwave after setting time and waited )

Shivay : So jb apko ghar mein aese midnight cravings hoti hai to aap kya krti hai ?

Anika : pehle to aap muze aap kehna band kijiye buddho wali feeling ati hai muze srf Anika bulaye and about midnight cravings to actually maa ko pata rehta tha ki unki 2 betiyon ko raat mein bohot bhuk lagti hai ek mein aur ek twinkle to wo hmesha kuch aisa fridge mein rkhti thi jise hum garam krke kha skte hai , jb University mein thi to maa ne meri roommate ko bhi meri ye adat batake rkhi thi ( shivay laughs on that ) are sacchi, to uska nam Jen tha so wo bhi raat se pehle fridge check krke soti thi ki incase muze bhuk lag gyi to available hona chahiye

Shivay: thank God Anika tumhare paas mein hu ( shivay said in flow while laughing but Anika felt the warmth of his words and his assurity to be with her and she also smiled on his little gesture)

Anika : hmm ( and that's when she heard ping of microwave) khana bula raha hai ( she said enthusiastically)

Shivay : let's grab it ( saying he turned off the microwave and took out bowl out of microwave using gloves carefully)

Anika : (smells the aroma of food ) ummm kitni swadisht khushbu aa rhi hai ,...ab muzse raha nhi ja rha jaldi serve kijiye ....nhi nhi rehne dijiye uske liye ab alag se bartan kharab honge ....wo bowl rkhiye yha niche ( she said directing towards floor )

Shivay : what ? Hum ye niche jamin pe baithkar khayenge kya

Anika : to kya age dining table pr jake khayenge ki wha ki bhi lights on krenge ,...aur jamin pe baithkar khane mein kya problem hai rkhiye jaldi thanda hojayega maza nhi ayega

Shivay ( awkwardly seats down): are plates to lene reh gaye ,...ek min mein plate

Anika interrupted: plates ki kya jarurat hai hume srf 2 spoons ki jarurat hai ,...bartan kyu khrab krne hai ( saying she took a spoon and shivay just gazing at her antics , she then settled down beside him and took out her phone to take a snap)
Shivaay yaha dekhiye ( saying she got a click)

Shivay : ye kya kr rahi ho , photo kyu khinch rahi ho

Anika : snap le rahi thi , streak banati hu na mein

Shivay ( in confusion) ye snap - streaks kya hota hai

Anika : hawww apko snap streak nhi pata ....kunj and rudra ne sikhaya nhi lagta hai aapko ( taking she took a spoonful bite and motioned shivay to eat)

Shivay : nhi to ye aise bachkane harkate mein nhi krta

Anika : isme bachkane harkate kya hai , it's just an update to our friends ki dekho hum ye kr rahe hai ....to wo kbhi milne ke baad puchne nhi ata ye kb hua kaise hua n all things

Shivay: lekin chize sbko batani kyu hai ( he took a bite ) zindagi mein kya chal raha hai uska dhindora kyu pitna

Anika : ek baat batati hu shivay , hum jbhi kisise kuch share krte hai na to samne wala insan ko bhi wo comfort mil jata hai ki wo bhi hmse bate share kr skta hai ..and that's how streaks works agar dono taraf ke log snap share krte hai tbhi streak bnte hai

Shivay : well still I'm not much interested in social media

And they continued few talks and finished the food

Anika : ab muze acchi nind ayegi , thank you shivay aapne meri nind bachali

Shivay : bohot filme dekhti ho tum ,....ye kam se tumhe fursat kb milti hai ye sb krne ke liye

Anika : zindagi jini pdti hai shivay wrna aise din kaatne mein kya maja hai ...agar ek particular day pr aap kuch interesting nhi kroge to wo din aapko yaad nhi rahega aur zindagi ka kya bharosa hai shahrukh ne kaha hai na "Jiyo! Khush Raho! Muskurao! Kya Pata Kal Ho Naa Ho"

Shivaay smiled on her dramatic side : Chalo sone jata hu ab bohot raat ho gayi hai ...kash aise batein hmari pehle ho pati

Anika : ab to Puri Umar padi hai tb krlena jo bit Gaya uska gham kyu ?

Saying they left for their respective rooms carrying more comfort about each other in heart and smile on face
