after the festival ended i found myself overseeing the spar between eragon and vanir after he apologized and begged to be allowed to continue in eragon's training i had agreed then again i had heard of the blessing that rainbow like dragon had given eragon so he had easily beaten vanir anyway

"master spellblade might i speak with you" arya asked i could tell she was nervous and i nodded as she led me to a private area

"lord spellblade i would like to apologize for the insult i directed at y-" she was cut off as i raised my hand

"did you mean it, or was it just your mind being clouded, i will know if your honest, if you lie to me i will take it as an insult, and will never speak to you again" i asked

"i did mean it" she replied quietly

"have you spoken to siphania, do you understand what it means if you choose to pursue me" i asked she nodded not allowing herself to speak at seeing this i kissed her

"if this is what you want then i will be more then happy to court you, i already have the permission from your mother, i think she may have angered siphania, and she gave it to placate her" i said with a chuckle

"your dragon can be terrifying, master spellblade" arya said

"arya you and i are now betrothed and i have every intention of taking your hand in marriage after the war, call me master spellblade again and i will smack you" i said she smiled sheepishly

"sorry harry" she said

"much better" i said as i kissed her

"come my dear let us not hide here any longer there is no reason for it" i said

"will you be joining me to the varden my love" she asked

"i need to keep an eye on the idiot named shadeslayer and i need to see if the spells i used on oromis are working like they are supposed to it should hopefully give him the capability to use magic freely again AND cease his random spasms" i said she nodded understandingly

"when eragon returns to the varden i shall be right behind him wait for me my love" i said she nodded happily

"always" she said i gave her one final kiss before we went our separate ways as i had a diagnostic check on oromis i needed to do

siphania was a very happy dragon, after arya left she watched her rider go through an incredible change in his desire to be worthy of the love, he had received, this change included his relationship with his bonded, he took towards his role as her rider properly and she was very pleased by that fact

the  diagnostic spells cast showed oromis was in fact free from his condition i was also able to regrow glaedr's limb, earning both their gratitude's right then

"i spent a lot of work, making sure your both ready to fight, so i expect the both of you alive at the end of the war that will pay the dept you owe me" i said

"we will do our best master spellblade" oromis said as glaedr growled his agreement, they agreed with arya's sentiment this man was a natural ruler, and he should very well be on the throne in uru'baen something he will see done
