Mobius grimaced, he wished he could change the way Loki saw himself. But after 1000 years or torture, child neglect, abuse, and self hatred, he could really only do so much. And he loved Loki so much it hurt.

Clint: we don't think that of you, the world needs you both, and if it doesn't at least your family does

Loki scoffed, he really doubted Odin wanted anything to do with him, the man he calls his father has never loved Loki a day in his life.

Clint: us, the family that you chose

Loki pressed his lips together and looked down, 'family', he's never really had one of those before. Except for Thor and his mother. But he really liked the idea of a loving one.

Steve rushes over to pull Bucky of the table, them both looking over each other

as i get up to go, you kiss me in your car

Him and Steve look at each other as they walked together

and it feels like the start of a movie i've seen before

Bucky smiles at Steve as they cheer for captain america

but it's not real

Bucky sits up on the floor after a nightmare

and you don't exist

Bucky looks over at Steve's shield

and i can't recall the last time i was kissed

Bucky cries into his fist

Mobius: he just wanted to be Steve's missing home

Nat: the home he was missing but not the one he wanted

Yelena: it's almost like his life isn't worth living without Steve in it

Steve curled his hands into fists to stop them from shaking, god, how could he have done this to the man he loved most in the world, the man that he loved so much more than he ever did Peggy. Yet he still left him for her.

Bucky's real hand traveled down Steve's arm until it pulled open one of his fists and held his lovers hand. Bucky knew how he felt, he always knew, but he couldn't do anything for him this time because he really couldn't lie and tell him that it's okay when they both know it's not, it was so far from okay.

Nothing about their situation was okay, from Bucky falling from a train to Steve leaving him. They both knew they were toxic for each other, but no matter how hard they tried, they never knew how to love anyone else besides each other.
