Forgotten Promise [GxG]

Chapter one [Only chapter]

Brittney's POV

Flashback

"Do you promise to marry me when we grow up?" I asked her, slightly smiling

"I promise!" She answerd back smiling widely

Present

I sat in my seat looking out the window next to me, remembering the last conversation i had with her before her and her parents moved to another town

Eleven  years have passed since i last saw her

I am now in my second year in collage and probably her too

I heard our classroom door open, i directed my attention there, looking away from the window and saw our english teacher, Mrs. Lin walking in

"Good morning class" she said as she put down her bag in her table

"Good morning Mrs. Lin" answered the students including me but in a low tone as i was tired and didn't got enough sleep last night

"You all are having a new classmate so treat her nicely" she said as she sat down in her seat

I didn't care as i again looked back at the window not caring about the new student

"You can come in now dear" Mrs. Lin said sweetly

I heard footsteps coming from our classroom door and stoping infront of everybody

"Please intruduce yourself" Mrs. Lin again said without taking the sweetness away from her voice

"Hi I'm Alice Smith and nineteen years old, i hope we all can get along and become friends" she said softly and sweetly

As soon as i heard her name, my head sprung in her direction with eyes wide

And when i saw her face my eyes widened more like its gonna fall out of my face

She's the Alice Smith that i knew and she became even more beautiful since i last saw her, its not like she was ugly before, she was really pretty but over the years she became even more prettier

She now has long blonde hair that  was once short, red plump lips and green round eyes, but she was still short like before

I was lost in trance that i didn't heard Mrs. Lin calling my name

"Ms. Emily! please raise your hand" i did as she told and Alice came, put her bag in the seat next to me and sat down

"Hi" she said while smiling "hey" i answered back as i look at her, after a while she asked "is there something in my face?, why'd you keep staring at me?" She gasp "or maybe you think I'm pretty and you like me, that's why you keep staring at me!" She whisper yelled, then smirked trying to tease me

I smirked back "hmm maybe~" i teased back, i then saw her flustered and looked away in the other direction and my smirk just got bigger, once she calmed down she focused on what Mrs. Lin was teaching

What i said was a lie as i had always liked her since we were young

Once the class ended, i turned to her and ask her "Al, do you remember me?" I asked,
She blushed at the nickname and turned to look at me looking confuse, then ask "what do you mean?" She ask confuse

"Dont you remember me?, its Brittney" i said

"Brittney...."she asked while still confuse

"Brittney Emily" i said with my full name this time

She gasp "Britt?" She asked and i smiled, i hummed as an answer "is it really you?" She again asked "yeah" i answered still smiling, she then hugged me tightly and said "i miss you so fucking much!" she said while smiling, she pulled away and i looked at her in the eyes as she looked back, i smiled to her softly "do you still remember our promise?" I ask hopeful she'll still remember it
