Chapter Eight: Taken

No one's POV:

Quinn hate taking tests. Especially math tests. April became her friend over the last month. Quinn tried to protect her in any way, but sometimes she would just... disappear. "You gotta show me how to use a staff." April once said to Quinn.

She shrugged. "Not much I can teach. I am horrible at teaching." Quinn declined. April pouted.
"You're no fun."
"Uh-huh." Quinn snickered.

"But what you and Donnie did at the mall was so cool!" April whisper-shouted. They were walking home from school.
"It's nothing." Quinn shrugged it off.
"By the way, where do you exactly live? Since, you know, your parents are..."

"Gone? I just live on the streets." Quinn explained and the look She gave April told her to let it go.

Suddenly, a black van sped up toward them. One of the doors opened and grabbed Quinn and April by their bags. The man holding them pulled the girls into the van and shut the door. Quinn felt hands around her wrists and ankles and soon after, She was tied up. Quinn wanted to shout but they put a cloth over her mouth. They gagged Quinn.

"We have the girls." A deep voice declared. Quinn heard muffling voices. "Of course sir."

They drove for a few minutes when there was thumping on the van roof. Some men scurried over the van and opened the doors. Bright light entered the dark room. One of the girls' kidnappers looked outside, only to be hit by something and falling off the van.

Someone jumped into the van. Raph. "April! Quinn!" He exclaimed as he went to untie them. A man with a katana attacked him and he sliced at Raph. He barely dodged and grabbed Quinn. As he was about to grab April, the man sliced his arm, making Raph howl in pain. The van went over a speed bump and Raph and Quinn fell out of the van.

Raph protected Quinn from the impact and hit the ground, sliding a few metres. The rest of the turtles landed around them. "Raph!" Mikey cried, kneeling next to his big brother.

"I'm fine Mikey." Raph assured and checked on Quinn. He took off her gag and untied her. Quinn gasped for air and rubbed the places where the ropes were.

"Why would they kidnap you and April?" Leo asked Quinn.
"I don't know." She admitted. He couldn't possible be here, right?
"Not only do they have April, but Master Splinter too!" Mikey cried.

"Who's Master Sponger?" Quinn asked.
"Master Splinter." Raph corrected.
"Yeah." Quinn got up.
"We don't have time. We have to find them." Mikey exclaimed.

"Then let's go." Quinn said.
"Oh no, no. Not you." Raph stopped her.
"What?!"
"This is meant for heroes. Civilians can't fight stuff like this."
"Excuse me?!" Quinn snapped. She fought monsters back in her world. She fought in a war.

"You heard me." Raph told her. "For all we know, the kidnappers could be mutants."

A paper fell from the sky and on Miskey's head. "I can't see!!!!" He yelled.
"Calm down Mikey!" Raph assured his brother. Donnie took the paper and quickly read it.
"Just as I suspected. It's a ransom. But I do not recall knowing a Kayla, Will and Austin." Donnie told the others. Quinn's head snapped in Donnie's direction.

"What. Did. You. Say?" She demanded, her blood boiling.
"Uh, Kayla, Will and Austin?" Donnie repeated. Quinn lost it. She took out her staff and spun it a few times. It created a small crack in-front of them and grew larger and larger, until it formed a portal.

"Go through." Quinn directed them.
"You just opened a portal?!" Mikey cried out when the rest of his brothers were speechless. "So cool!"
"Yeah. Go in." She instructed again. The turtles followed her orders and Quinn looked up from the sky.

"I'll get you home. I promise on the River Styx."
