I stood before my new friend with a grin. She on the other hand... She stood with panic obvious in her beautiful red eyes which I only seemed to notice now. Red? How peculiar, maybe this is why she has been feared and called a demon...? Solo tal vez...

"Oh Dios mío! That was..." I breathe in with a smile. "Amazing!" I run my hands through my well kept over grownish hair. She freezes for a moment but starts to laugh taking me by surprise. She's laughing? My eyes widen with surprise as she laughs more hysterically causing sweat to run down my cheek as she snorts.

"Y-you've got to be kidding me!" She continues laughing. Huh? Santa mierda, she is insane! I hold my nervous look towards her doubled over figure feeling myself smile slightly. I could get used to that laugh. She sees my face and the colour leaves her face immediately. "N-no... You're not fucking with me, right?" She looks sadly into my eyes, to which I shake my head. As soon as I shake my head viciously she smiles widely, and not insanely this time. "This is the first time this has happened," She grins from ear to ear, I just stare in awe.

"Dios mío, Niña bonita..." I smile softly and she turns her head to the side with such a soft, confused gaze upon vicious eyes and a small smile still playing at her lips.

"Just for that I'm going to learn spanish! Just for you, mi amigo!" She pronounces terribly but I still chuckle softly. She needs so much help with that... And I'll be there for just that.

"Okay, Loco." I start to walk to class turning to see her still standing there. I shoot her a confused yet intrigued glance from 3 feet away. My oh my is she interesting. "Why are you just standing there?" I ask softly. "We have class don't we?" I tilt my head to the side and she nods.

"Sure we do, I just can't go because I literally just broke someone's nose before." She laughs softly and I nod. "Go on without me, I'll see you at lunch anyways!" She walks away humming a soft, yet familiar tune. God, that girl will be the end of me.

I shrug, walking to class only to be met with a full classroom and a pissed teacher before me.

"Zach, right?" The teacher walks to me, stopping 4 feet away from me. I nod gulping slightly, if my parents find out what happened I. Am. Dead. Meat. I groan at the thought. "Well Zach. Why are you late?" She furrows her eyebrows towards me as she sighs rubbing her temples.

"I got lost?" I try to lie but don't get far, earning a laugh from the class.

"Sit down." She points to a boy, a tall guy who barely even fits in his seat. It's sort of amusing in a way. He was definitely not from here. I nod and walk to the seat beside him.

"Hi," I smile waving, he waves back however he doesn't speak. Maybe he isn't trying to be rude and just has bad english. "I'm Zach." I offer my hand when the teacher is looking away doing something.

"Michael." Is all he says. Intimidating to say the least. He takes my hand in his with a tight grasp. "It is..." He thinks for a moment before speaking. "Nice? To meet?" He questions his own slow english and I nod silently telling him he got close enough.

"Don't worry English isn't my first language either." I place my stuff down grabbing out a book to doodle in whilst the teacher starts the boring lecture, her name is Mrs. Perch I think? Michael huffs in agreeance, boy this guy already looks tired and its only the first day back. Is he new like me?

"What is your language?" He asks with a soft voice.

"Spanish, and you?" I look at the board to avoid the attention our peers are giving us.

"Russian." He chuckles softly and I join him. "Would you like to be friends?" He asks with friendly intent in his voice to which I nod.

"Sure," I grin and start to actually pay attention to the lecture feeling my eyes slowly droop. Only a little shut eye wouldn't hurt right? I think as I shut my eyes. As I'm drifting off to sleep I feel a piece of paper get thrown at my head landing in my lap. Hm? I open the scrunched up piece of paper and read the following:

You need your girlfriend to protect you?

I read it and laugh loudly knowing who sent this. I get a glare from the teacher and shut my mouth.

"Something funny?" She asks and I nod eager. "Oh please do share," She insists as I stand reading out the note laughing through the sentence.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Perch it's just James threw this at me. And you know what it says?" I ask her knowing the obvious answer.

"Enlighten me." She plays along glancing at James and his friend Henry.

"It reads: You need your girlfriend to protect you? Can you believe that!?" I laugh loud. I feel glares burning into my head.

"Very funny, sit down." She finally says letting me off the hook. I grin towards James with sinister intent in my eyes.

"You're dead." He mouths and I hold back another laugh. This time successfully.

RING!

"Class dismissed." The teacher shoos us out and I take my sweet ass time finally reaching the door with an unsatisfied yawn.

"Hey freak!" I hear from behind me and I hold my hand to my ear.

"Hm, what's that? Sorry, I just thought someone below me just spoke." I turn around but just as I thought I was turned around and held by my collar.

"Listen here, Buddy! Unless you want to die, I suggest you shut your little mouth okay?!" James pushs me against my locker and I don't even flinch making his eyes widen slightly.

"Oh I apologise, you think my 'girlfriend' is going to come beat you up? No, even worse I will beat you up. So I 'suggest' you scram." I spit back anger bubbling inside of me.

"You always need a girl to save you don't act like you can do anything with those scrawny arms." He snaps back and I snap inside.

"Is that so? Tell me James, How good is your fight or flight?" I smile with murdeous eyes. He stands back a bit with a terrified glance before defending himself with words that should have came out sooner.
