"Esther? Esther?"

His voice was near. I could sense it. His mocking, playful, childish, creepy voice.

The building was on the brink of collapsing. Its brick walls had missing portions, probably from idiotic Enhanced. There's probably even one with Him.

I ducked under a table nearby, causing ashes and cinders surround me.

I cough.

"ESTHER," He screams in a rage.

I feel a shaking through the ground. The rubble of desks and bulletin boards shiver, as if a freezing breeze passed through them. Pebbles around me bounce up and down, and small cracks spread, getting larger and larger by the second.

Oh no, please no...

I stand, and whip my head toward his direction.

I can notice a silhouette coming into view, about twenty feet away. A small green light emerged from the hand of the silhouette. I repeatedly shook my head, there were tears streaming down my cheeks.

Today is the day I die.

I scoot away on the floor, probably looking like a hopeless coward, but what can I do? His enhancements are so incredibly strong, I'd be dead within the next ten seconds.

"Hello?" A voice echoed through the abandoned school.

The silhouette slowly turned his shadowy figure toward the direction in which the voice had spoken.

Now was my time, I stood up and scuttled away through the rubble. I could feel shots of fiery, green light whipping past me, but I could already tell that I was safe.

As I continued ducking through fallen walls and crawling through holes in standing walls, I heard a voice.

The voice.
