The screen shut off, and Mika grimaced as the light grew brighter "Break." She said Sighing "I'll be back with food," she said, even though most people didn't hear her because they were being obnoxious. She stood up shut her eyes, she swayed her fan before disappearing into a light-colored fog.

Mika sighs as she reaches the room, She glanced to the side at Qiang; Who smiled at her "Ah hello Airen." She said as Mika walked towards her. She laughed under her breath "Airen.....The time limits up?" glancing up at Mika before pulling her down "Yes" Mika replied smiling as Qiang nuzzled into her shoulder. She sighed " Do you need any help Mei..? " Qiang asked, Mika, leaned into the touch "If you want to , you can help. Half those guys piss me off."

Mika smiled as Qiang shook from laughter, Qiang lifted her head as she spoke "Ofcourse love." Qiang kissed her cheek lightly, Mika returned the gesture before breaking into soft giggles at Qiang's reaction "That's enough A-Qi" Qiang hummed "Ok, Ok I'll stop" Mika stoop up, Qiang followed closely behind her "Right, let's go deal with your family and those assholes" Mika giggled at her antics" Be .... Quiet! "

A light fog fills the room catching the attention of the crowd, Qiang gives a shit eating grin before Mika slaps her hand of her hips " Biantai." she huffs out " I've got food " She says before Qiang speaks " What she means is she brought you food and your gonna eat it otherwise I'll make sure you starve." She smiles as she finishes the sentence. Mika stares at her, her face straight although, she obviously was fighting the erge to slap her.

"Yu Qiang." Mika says staring directly , Qiang smiles sheepishly "J-Just kidding-!" She said back over to the tray 'I wasn't but, I genuinely like the land of living.'

Mika, Snapped her fingers teleporting the food around. She looked content at the outcome as she checked if everyone got something , Qiang on the other hand had her arms crossed and was tapping her boots on the ground aggressively, The bells that were suspended by chains on her boots shook violently as she watched Mika walk around the room.

Mika hummed as she finished the checking, She walked over to Qiang "See I'm finished you can stop ruining my floor now. " She said, Watching as the others eat . The two sat bickering childishly , wasting time until the guests were finished eating.

They'd waited 20 minutes and honestly they'd started to drift into sleep when Mika snapped awake and ended the break "The break is over." She said, She swings her fan open as the screen lit up.

The Past- Before it all

The last time Wangji had seen Wuxian she had to sneak off because well, if wangji was honest her stepmom was an 'asshole' that was the nicest way Wangji described her since Wuxian had rejected 'Bitch ass self-centered jealous mother fucker' .

The pair had definitely had a good relationship that steadily grew every time they saw each other at functions or in secret. Seeing as she was the only one that Wangji spoke to at will, She'd stole the boys heart more everyday. Initially they both had mini heart attacked at the others instinctual reflex's to make contact . Wangji was how do you say soft for his precious 'A-Ying' not that Wuxian didn't notice Wangji spoiling her way more often. She'd get something expensive every time he visited, Not simple jewelry or robes, She'd get genuine diamond accessories she was starting to wonder if his pockets weren't hurting, but the guys rich and look devoid of any problems with money. This time Wuxian was questioning him.

"Ah he shows love with gifts and touch im guessing since hes almist allways touching her" A female lan disciple says smiling

"Lan Zhan hold on." Wuxian said as Wangji was about to buy her something that AGAIN she happened to have a lingering glance at the color caught her eyes. But none the less Wangji paused staring at her "Last time, I told you i was going on a personal night hunt you dragged me to an expensive inn, bought me about three pouches of really expensive jewelry and robes separately. You know you don't need to do that right?"

"THREE POUCHES SEPARATELY, AN EXPENSIVE INN NO GUY WOULD DO THIS FOR ME ?!" A few girls gasped , Where could they find a man like this!

Wuxian sighed glaring at Wangji, Who muttered a " My bad, I just love spoiling you.." Wuxian rolled her eyes staring back at the screen

Wangji replied, Before he placed the gold into the shopkeepers hand, The shopkeeper smiled at the two bickering " He's a romantic let him be Guniang, He seems to enjoy your company a lot " He said carefully taking up the ruby bracelet " I did the same with my wife " Genuinely the two felt truthfully embarrassed, The man gave a warm smile " Enjoy, I wish you both a great future together " At that single sentence Wangji felt a sure feeling, He was being 'Smug' wasn't he . He had no problem with the wording he'd be fine being trapped forever if it meant he had her. Wuxian was as red as a rose, flushed and hiding behind her sleeves .

"Aw....So romantic!" A jiang girl cooed, She giggled as she stared a the screen

Shortly after the two left this was Wuxian's annual night hunt and sure enough Wangji planned to drag her away again. They'd only started 'dating' a few months ago, They hadn't spoke about getting married yet and neither of them were rushing and that just made them walk in an awkward silence, To them, this was testing the waters but that conversation made them think 'This means we're engaged right.?' They both thought.

The time passed quickly and the two had found themselves playing scores and singing.

They seemed to forget what went on earlier. A boy peeped around the corner trying his best not to disturb the two.

He silently walked over to the two his head, hung low as if he'd just been scolded.

The boy quietly whispered "Excuse me...." he said lowering to a bow .

Wangji opened his eye's stopping his fingers line of movement before placing a palm to the strings to stop any lingering vibrations.

Wuxian lowered her flute " Hello "  she said smiling at the boy, who's face only seemed to get more flushed.

However a single glace at Wangji made him begin to pale

"Ah... The vinegar. " a young boy said.  A girl smiled at the sentence.

"The....The food is prepared" The boy said he hung again. Wuxian genuinely felt sorry for the poor boy, she herself had never been the subject to any of Wangji's glares however, she knew how terrifying they could get.

She nodded, sighing as the boy walked away.

She then crossed her arms "Lan Zhan."

"Oh dear....it seems you've been caught Lan er Gonzi" Yanli giggled, Xichen smiled at the comment.

"....Lan umm Lan guniang which heir are you?" A Jiang Disciple asked, Mei lowered her fan that had been covering half of her face. Mainly to hide the visible disgusting face.
