[Changbin's POV]

'What happened today?' Jisung asked me when I finally got home.
'Nothing really....I just.....kissed Felix,' I muttered.
Jisung nodded understandingly, 'That's understandable. Wait! What?'

'What?' I questioned confused.
'Why the sudden change in attitude? You used to hate Felix and now you kissed him....'
I sighed deeply,  walking past him, 'It's complicated. Let's talk about something else okay?'
'Sure,'
After hanging out with Jisung for a few more minutes I finally made my way upstairs. A soft glow surrounded my bedroom, signaling it was already late. I placed my hand on top of the lamp next to my bedside table, dimming the brightness slightly. Placing my things on the ground beside my bed I climbed under the covers before resting my head on my pillow. Just when I was about to fall asleep, my phone rang. Picking it up from the ground I noticed that it was Felix calling. With furrowed eyebrows I answered the phone, putting it on speaker, 'Felix?'
I waited patiently for his response.
'Changbinnie?'
My heart melted, 'Yeah, it's me. What is it Felix?'
'Can we talk?' He asked hesitantly. His voice sounded almost nervous.
'Yeah, um sure what about?'
'Will you meet me at the river tomorrow?'
'Yes Felix,'
'Ok.'
'Are you having regrets about our kiss?'
'No!'
'Good because the only regret I have is waiting so long to kiss you.'
'I don't know what to say.'
'You don't need to say anything. Let's talk tomorrow.'
'Ok, tomorrow.'
I hung up the phone and sighed, rolling onto my side facing the wall, not wanting to think too much about kissing Felix and how hot it made me feel.
'Binnie! Where are you?' Chan called from downstairs.
'In my room hyung! Just give me five minutes,' I shouted back.
'Alright! I'll cook dinner for everyone tonight. Be ready by seven, I have some good news,' He replied.
Sighing yet again I closed my eyes.
Why did life have to be so complicated?!

[Felix's POV]
When I arrived at the river at 7:15am sharp, I expected to see Changbin already there. But of course, he wasn't there. He's probably just running late as usual. I sat down on the shoreline of the river, taking off my shoes and socks, and placing them neatly to the side.
'Felix?' A familiar voice called from a distance. I turned around to find Changbin jogging towards me. When he reached me I realised that he too removed his shoes and socks.
'Hey,' I greeted him.
'Hi,' He whispered back.
We both stayed silent for awhile, simply staring at each other until Changbin broke it.
'Can we sit down first?' He asked politely, nodding towards the riverbank. I followed his instructions and sat down, crossing my legs and resting my arms on top of them. After sitting down we looked straight ahead, neither of us saying a word. I didn't know what to do with the awkward silence. Should I break it or wait for Changbin to start talking?
'How was your day yesterday?' I eventually broke the silence.
'It was pretty uneventful, except when this beautiful man started kissing me, "
he added while pointing his finger at me playfully.
'You jerk!' I exclaimed pushing him playfully. I laughed at the silly expression on his face and then stopped abruptly. My mind was filled with thoughts of last time we were together. I still couldn't figure out what would happen between us. Were we still friends, or more? Was it really such a big deal to act on these feelings? Or was it just my imagination? I don't know.
'Is there something wrong?' He asked noticing the change in my expressions.
'Um, nothing!' I replied trying to shake the image out of my head.
Changbin raised an eyebrow at my reply which caused me to sigh and nod in defeat.
'Well..I just..don't know what to do with these feelings,' I admitted.
"Feelings?" Changbin repeated.
"I'm making things awkward, aren't I," I panicked.
'No, not at all. But how about we take things slow.'
Slow? Slow isn't fast enough.
"Yeah." I agreed.
Changbin pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulders.
"Do you believe that we can make it work?" He asked.
"Yea," I nodded, feeling a slight smile growing on my lips. Then leaned forward to place a gentle kiss to his lips. The moment our lips connected, I felt electricity flow through every fibre of my body. Our bodies moved perfectly in sync with one another as our kiss became deeper and longer. I pushed myself even closer to Changbin until we were practically lying on the ground. He suddenly broke away from the kiss, resting his forehead on mine.
'God, that feels so good,' He groaned.
'Same,' I responded smiling.
He continued to stare into my eyes as if trying to memorize everything there. Then he leaned back down and gently placed a gentle kiss on my lips. My body shuddered at the contact. My hands ran themselves through Changbin's dark locks and he wrapped his arms tightly around me. I could tell that his hands were shaking.
'Changbin, is everything alright,' I asked, concerned.
He didn't respond. Instead he pulled away. He held my face between his palms, caressing my cheeks softly. He looked deeply into my eyes.
'Its really hard to stop with you but we need to go slow.' He told me in a low whisper.
'Okay,' I whispered back.
The sound of rustling leaves caught our attention. We immediately looked around. Nothing was there. We must have imagined it. There's no way someone could've sneaked past us without us knowing. But still, we couldn't shake off the weird feeling we got. I was definitely not imagining it and it scared me.
I glanced at Changbin who was staring right back at me. He seemed deep in thought and slowly nodded. As if he was coming to a conclusion.
'Let's go home,' He stated, grabbing my hand.
'Home?' I echoed.
He nodded.
'But Chan....'
'Won't be there he went to Busan with Jeogin, Minho and Suengmin.'
'I guess you're right,' I replied, feeling relieved.
Changbin pulled me along towards his apartment building. Once we got inside the elevator, he pressed the button and leaned back against the elevator walls, looking at me expectantly. I bit my lip nervously before asking, 'So...are you going to kiss me....again?' I chuckled nervously.
'If you want,' He replied calmly, his eyes never leaving mine.
I stared into those deep dark orbs and I could swear my world stopped spinning.
Slow.
He said we were going to take it slow. I should just give it time, even though it killed me. Changbin deserves someone who was willing to give him the time he needed to figure out who he was. I new who I was at a young age but people like Changbin they needed more time. My gaze devoured his beauty and I couldn't believe that such a beautiful man would have an interest in me.
Without warning he leaned forward and grabbed my neck pulling me close, capturing my lips with his. This time, it felt more intense than before. It sent butterflies throughout my entire being and sparks flew everywhere I touched Changbin's skin. I felt like I could die happily right then and there.
We broke apart after what felt like forever and Changbin looked completely dazed.
Wow...that was unexpected...' I murmured, blushing slightly.
'Yeah.' Changbin smiled.
'What's that supposed to mean?' I questioned cocking my eyebrow at him curiously.
'You're really cute,' He giggled.
'Am I?' I asked raising an eyebrow.
'Of course you are.'
'I'm glad you think so,' I said, smiling brightly.
After pressing the fifth floor's doorbell Changbin and I began heading to his apartment once again. When we entered the hallway I froze, surprised by something that lay hidden behind Changbin's door. It was a large bouquet of flowers. A bouquet of red roses.
Changbin walked up to me quietly and kissed me on the cheek softly. Without saying anything he let out a soft chuckle and opened the door. 'Come,' he muttered.
I took my jacket off and threw it over the small sofa and then walked into the kitchen where Changbin was standing waiting for me. He quickly hugged me and pressed my nose into his neck.
'Thank you,' He murmured quietly.
'For what?' I whispered back.
'Everything,' He replied holding me tighter.
After spending the whole evening together on the couch playing video games together, watching cheesy movies, eating pizza and cuddling, I finally decided that it was time to go home. Changbin drove me home and after giving me the sweetest kiss he held me tight for a long time.
'Goodnight Lixia,' Changbin whispered.
'Night Bin.'
