I don't remember anything but I woke up two hours after the operation. First off, that's not supposed to happen. I'm supposed to be sleeping for at least a week before I wake up. I was also without an incubator or a breathing line. Not that's a bad thing but, not going to lie it made me a little anxious.
I didn't feel pain for the first two days because the anesthetics and sedation was still really strong. In fact, I felt great. Well not great but generally ok. Although I was napping every few hours.
Mother's POV:
I was surprised, she wasn't supposed to be up yet. But I was definitely happy to see my little girl up. Seeing all those needles, tubes and wounds on her did freak me out a little bit. I was scared. Not that she couldn't handle the pain. I know that she can;my girl is a little fighter. But I was scared I couldn't help my little fighter overcome the pain. Oh god, give me the strength to help my girl and help ease her pain.
