Why, Hello | Jungkook

Headphones hanged around her neck, connected to her iPod on the back pocket. She wore short shorts but the oversized, grey, hoody jacket covered it. She hopped and skipped a little around the park.

I was sitting on the bench, listening to music only to pay my attention on her. She goes here every Saturday evening, wondering around the park. Always seemed to be lost in thought. I've been noticing her since that day I saw her sleeping up against the tree with her headphones on.

Sometimes I wonder if she ever noticed me or anything. Like, maybe at least a little glare of me. All my hyungs said that it was a little creepy for me to just watch her and for once, I actually agree. But, I'm just too scared to talk to her. There were times where I almost spoke to her but always end up hiding behind trees or pretending to do something else.

I looked down and noticed that her shoelace was untied making me stand up from the bench and follow her. Part of me wants her to trip so I can try to save her, but the other doesn't want her to get hurt.

Her foot stepped on the lace and was about to trip. That's when I quickly ran and held her by the waist. She squeaked a little, thinking that she'd hit the ground. Lucky for her, I was there.

"K-kamsahamn-nida," she stuttered out in a very quiet, shy tone as she straightened up and turned to face me. "It's okay," I said trying to sound very calm. Then, I knelt down to her shoe and tied it for her. "Just tie your shoes more tightly, okay?" She made a small nod as her hand and sleeve covered her mouth, but I can still see her cheeks getting a little bit red.

"Sorry," she apologized. I furrowed a little and cocked my head to the left. "What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything bad." She was about to say sorry again but she stopped herself and nodded. I made sheepish smile at how cute that was.

I didn't realised that she was this shy and quiet. She's like a fragile glass that can break but can also be protected. "What's your name?" I asked confidently. "_________, your's?"

"Jeon Jeonggkook, but just call me Jungkook."
