Alex's pov 

me and max walk in to Emma and Luke on the terrace, Bertram cleaning, jessie rave and Zuri are no where to be seen at the moment 

a= hey Bertram what's going on 

b= hey Alex, max how was your sleepover and I have no idea something to do with birds and lizards 

a= okay right. the sleepover was good, thank you Bertram now I have to go sort some things out to make sure everyone is okay 

m= here Alex I'll deal with the bird, im assuming the bird thing is why Emma and Luke are outside, you deal with the lizard thing and Zuri 

a= good idea, meet back here soon 

m= on it 

me and max go our separate ways to sort everything out, Bertram smiles at us

Bertram pov 

the girls run off in different directions Alex upstairs and max to the terrace. honestly im so happy Alex has friends like max she seems to be a lot happier and its nice to here her talking again. 

Alex's pov 

I walk up the stairs and hear Ravi yelling at jessie in Indian. oh god this is bad. 

a=what's going on

ravi and jessie look at me 

r= because of jessie mrs Chesterfield and animal control are taking mr Kipling away 

a= what...jessie you are really bad at this nanny thing. its okay Ravi we can fix this 

j= I will figure out a way to fix this, we just need to get mr Kipling out of the building 

r= as I recall you wanting to get him out of the building is what caused this in the first place 

j= okay.. okay are we assigning blame here or are we saving a lizard 

r= I am doing a little bit of both 

a= okay while you guys get the lizard out im going to check on Zuri. 

j= okay sounds like a plan 

a= if you need me call me. 

after I said that I leave to go find Zuri. I found her in the kitchen 

a= hey Zuri what ya doing 

z= im just doing some colouring, how was your sleep over. 

a= it was great thank you. 

we were talking when Bertram walks in 

b= do I put frogs legs in the fridge or pantry 

me and Zuri look at each other and we say at the same time 

a+z= I dont know thats not my job 

b= I never imagined it would be mine either 

the doorbell then rang so Zuri said 

z= ill get It 

she opened the door and mrs Chesterfield was there with animal control 

mrs c= hello little girl, may we come in 

z= no, and Alex said im not supposed to talk to strangers  

I laughed and walked over to the door 

mrs c = im mrs chesterfield from down stairs, im not strange 

a= thats a matter of opinion 

me and Zuri looked at each other with a smirk. then Zuri tries to close the door but its stoped by the she devil mrs chesterfield, she then walks in pushing past us 

a= hey you can't just come in 

mrs c= out of my way 

z= you're strange and rude and you have dog breathe 

me and Zuri chase after her, when we see max in the living room.

m= ally what's happening

a= long story, come on 

we carry on following mrs c and animal control to ravis room 

z= there's nothing to see here 

mrs c= if there's no giant lizard then what is this big cage for 

Zuri and max look at me and I quickly say 

a= its an indoor playground

Zuri then adds 

z= they didn't have those around when you were a kid 

mrs c = how dare you im only 32 

m= maybe in dog years. 

me Zuri and max giggle which angers mrs c more 

mrs c= so you're claiming this contraption is yours 

z= absolutely 

and Zuri runs into the cage and starts climbing me and max just stand there 

mrs c = and how comes you two aren't going in 

m= we are too big for it. 

a= yh plus Zuri seems to have so much fun on her own 

z= I am and it doesn't smell like dead rats at all 

mrs c= well how do you explain all these tiny animal skeletons 

a= hey you have your hobbies and we have ours 

after that the animal control people said were talking to mrs c about wasting there time and that 

me Zuri and max smiled in victory and mrs c and the animal control people left. we high fived and Zuri said 

z= hey Alex can you come play with me, max can play to I need some more guests for my tea party 

a= of course come on 

the rest of the day we played tea parties and me and max helped Zuri stand up to her imaginary friend genieve, but the others told us about how mr Kipling saved zeus the dog from an eagle, how Emma and Luke finished their project and after everything it was time for max to leave so we said good bye and she left
