Jennifer's P.O.V

I woke up to the soft sound and sweet memory of my mother's voice in my ear. A smile drew on my face even before I opened my eyes, transported to a past time when she would wake me up to go to school.

"It's your wedding day." She whispered.

My eyes opened instantly as her hand brushed over my face and it still took me a moment to process that it was my wedding day. I turned around looking for Ben but he was no longer there, he made sure to wake up earlier, probably to keep some of the mystery.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked in a sleepy voice.

"Everything fine, sweetheart. Today you'll have to give up control and let us take care of everything." She said sitting on the edge of the bed.

I wasn't very good at giving up control and if the situation was important I just couldn't do it at all. This situation was beyond important, but I guess she was right, and I didn't want to be a crazy bride on my wedding day.

It was early so I took a relaxing bath, warm, long, and very much needed before doing anything else. I had a very light breakfast with the kids, and I missed Ben a lot. They were all very excited and their enthusiasm was contagious. Time passed slowly but Chris finally arrived. He did every detail of my makeup with the most care and patience, and after that he started with my hair. The kids were already getting dressed with the help of Ben's mom and my mom.

The guests started to arrive right on time for me to put on my dress. But before I stood from in front of the mirror, Lynda interrupted with a good reason. I turned around startled when I heard the door but then I saw her walking in with something in her hands.

"Someone sends a bouquet for the bride." Lynda said giving it to me. "There's a note."

"Did you read it?" I asked amused.

"I'm sorry. It was so beautiful." She answered.

Everyone in the room seemed very interested so I read it out loud.

"The moment I saw you I new you were for me. I knew I had found the woman who was destined to be my wife. Every minute I have waited for the last twenty years has been worth it for today the dreams of that young groom will finally come true. I can't wait to marry you. I will be the man standing beside you, today and as long as we live." I read.

Everyone's reaction was a collective "Aw". My eyes welled up as I raised my look from the piece of paper.

"No. Don't cry or you're gonna ruin the best makeup of my career." Chris said.

"Your man is waiting for you." My mom said. "Are you ready to put on that dress?"

"I've never been more ready."

What is love? Well, now I don't have to ask that question anymore. Only love could feel like that, the way I had been feeling all day and since the day he came back to my life. He was a dream and I still couldn't believe we got a second chance. To say that I was grateful to life would be an understatement.
