Adoption?

Marie's PV

The moment I walked into the room I felt like something wrong is going to happen. Never less, I said, " Hello, my name is Marie. I am 13 years old. I am the eldest child of the orphanage's children. Welcome to the orphanage. What may I help you with?" I spoke as formally as I could hoping that the customer wouldn't run away like most people when they found out that I would help them out.

The man spoke in a light British accent, " Hello Marie, I am Jacob E. Walker. 19 years old. I am the CEO of the Walker Corporations. May you first tell me your last name please?" He smiled at me, it blew me away.

I stayed composed at his smile and how big his company was, it is the most successful corporation in the world, and said, " I have no last name, sorry. May I ask why would you ask such a thing, sir."

Jacob said, " No need to call me sir. My sister was supposed to be dead. Her name was Marie B. Walker. My parents died in a car crash while bringing Marie back home. I stayed at home. The car exploded so everyone thought that everyone died and didn't try to save anyone. My dad were dead the minute the car crashed but my mother told the ER doctors, " Save Marie she is my only daughter. Please try your best. She must not be found!" There my mother died and I never heard her last words until this year. I found it weird that my sister's body was never found until last year December. And so I canceled my work for sometime until the end of this year trying to find my young sister."

I sighed and said, " I'm sorry for your lost but I'm pretty sure that I have no more siblings or parents alive anymore. In fact, last week I went to the doctor and guess what they said when I asked about my family, they are all dead. I can't be that Marie your talking about."

Jacob said, " My baby sister... she had fiery red hair just like you she also had a birthmark over her heart, it had the shape of a heart. Though It was just a picture of her. Even though I don't now my sister at all, I feel like she is you. And so I would like adopt you.
