Y/n stares at her phone as it rings with a frown on her face. She huffs after the third ring and answers it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, are you busy?"

She bristles but lets out a sigh. "Not right now. Do you need something, Chan?"

"Ah, yeah, I-" he clears his throat. "I was just wondering if you would come to the studio to go over 'Scry Glass' with me. I could use another pair of ears and I thought it'd be fair to have you double-check with me as a leader."

Y/n nods at nothing. "Yeah, okay. I'm on the way."

"Great! Thank you so much."

"Mhm."

Y/n hangs up the phone and stares at it before getting up, putting on proper clothes, and grabbing her things.

"Hey," Y/n pats Hyunjoo's head as she passes her in the living room. "I'm heading to the JYPE building."

She frowns and tilts her head back. "Why?"

Y/n shrugs. "Going over 'Scry Glass' once more before we file it away. Chan wants another set of ears and asked for me."

Hyunjoo sits up. "Do you want me to come with you?"

She waves her off. "No, I'll be okay. I've been getting better."

Hyunjoo makes a face at her. "If you're getting better, then why do you still have your scent patches on?"

Y/n tenses and Hyunjoo sighs.

"Y/n-"

"I'll take them off later," Y/n faces her and gives her a smile. "I promise."

Hyunjoo nods but still frowns at her. "Alright. Call me if you need anything."

"Okay," she huffs out a laugh and leaves.

It's been a couple of days since making and practicing the dance for 'Scry Glass' and Y/n's kept herself busy. After apologizing to her members, she's kept her distance. No one's said anything about it so far but it's only a matter of time before someone does and she's not quite ready for that. This whole entire situation with Chan just... hurts too much for her to continuously talk about it. She'd rather ignore the whole fate thing until the collab is over so that's exactly what she's going to do.

"Y/n?"

Y/n stops and turns her head before smiling. "Hey, Jisung."

Jisung jogs up to her. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh. Chan asked for me to help with double-checking 'Scry Glass' so I came."

"Ah," he nods his head. "Okay okay. How-How are you doing?"

Y/n smiles as he fidgets and nudges his side. "I'm okay. Thank you though."

Jisung scrunches his nose but nods. "Okay. As long as you're okay. Oh! Chan told me he told you about me wanting to write songs for each position, right?"

"Yeah," she perks up. "I was working on the song for me and the other dancers. They came up with a name so I started working on it."

"Oh! What is it?"

Y/n laughs at the excitement in his eyes and wraps her arm around his shoulder pulling him along with her. "We came up with 'River Nymphs.'"

"That's so fitting!" he gapes. "I'll be honest, I haven't got the slightest idea how that would sound as a song."
