It was a cloudless afternoon, the azure sky descending from a pale blue beauty to an orangish, purple sky. A gentle breeze washed over the green lively meadow as the leaves trembled amongst the smooth atmosphere. Various types of flowers, ranging from Irises to marigolds, to beautiful, red roses danced along the grass ever so softly. It was a quiet afternoon, though the only sources of sound were faint chirping from the birds. This was usually the spot that Colin always awoke in every time he dreamed. He always met his beloved at this spot in his dreams, to have a long-lived moment of love and soft passion, underneath the gazing sunset as the two would always lay down on the soft grass admiring the scenery in front of them. This was what was happening now.

Colin laid in between his beloved's arms in their true form, resting his head against their chest and listening to their occasional silent heartbeat. He had his arms comfortably wrapped around Expunged's waist as one of their legs wrapped around Colin. Usually, he would flinch or become uncomfortable when people would do this, but...with Expunged he felt safe, he felt at peace. He felt he shouldn't be wary around him.

After all..they were one in the same, right?

Expunged had their arms wrapped around Colin in a more protective way as they held him close, caressing his back. Watching their beloved and follower relax and seem peaceful made a part of their soulless heart blossom with love and care. Their big wings, which they have grown from their back, seemed to flutter slightly at the stimuli they felt. 

They had this urge to do something they haven't done in such a long time and felt playful..mischievous even. Expunged smirked as they started grinning having an idea. Looking down at Colin, they surprised him by leaning in and kissing all over his face, using their giant wings to cover each other. Colin who seemed to notice started to blush bright red as he lightly screamed, but began laughing.

"Fat-haha-ther!" Colin laughed, almost falling over on his back. Expunged grinned as they laughed quietly along with him, resting their head against him. He softly purred against Colin which made him smile through his still-red face, his laughing turning into soft giggling. 

"YOU ARE FUN TO TORMENT, YOU KNOW THAT?" Expunged teased. Colin felt his heart skip a beat as he playfully slapped Expunged against their chest lightly looking away from them. 

"Shut up!"

Expunged chuckled as they kissed Colin's cheek before closing their eyes and continuing to hold him, snuggling closer to him. Colin stayed lying in Expunged's arms, feeling weak and fuzzy, but that didn't bother him, in fact, it made him deep inside explode with joy. He sighed tiredly and also snuggled closer to Expunged burying his face into their chest.

"I.." Colin exhales, "love you too, my love..."
