  You stood beside your lover, peering down at the map in your paws. Buddy glanced over at you from the boat's wheel, surprised as the map didn't fly away with the wind and the rain.

  "Are we there?" They ask, looking beyond the ship and into the mist in front of the boat.

"Yeah, I believe so," You say, fixing your glasses from falling off your snout. "I can hardly tell with all this fog, ya know." You look up and squint at the front of the boat, a frown on your face.

"You're telling me." They roll their eyes before turning their head to their side of the ship. "Hey, did ya hear that?" They dug their claws into the wooden wheel and stare into the abyss that is the fog, now on high alert.

Raising an eyebrow at your partner you look in their direction, "Nooooo? Should I be-" Now hearing something come closer, your eyes went wide and you face became pale.

Something with wings crashed against your flying boat, and into your partner. They yelled out and flew back and onto you, and unfortunately the side broke and forced both of you onto the land under you.

You both groan and look up to see your ship flying ahead of you, past the top of the cave you now had just noticed. With shaky legs you stood up and helped Buddy up.

"You okay?" You asked, concern written all over your face. Buddy looked up at you, a shaky smile on their face.

"Y-yeah, are YOU okay?" They answered, now having the same expression as you. Smiling you kiss their nose and cheek.

"Yeah, lets-"

"-Go into the cave." They answered for you. You nod and start walking over to the cave, Buddy following close behind.

Something jumped out from a tiny crevice, you couldn't tell what it was but it sure looked odd.

Following the small creature, you crouched down and crawled through a smaller passage way. Making it through the passage you stood up and looked down at Buddy, who had just gotten out. They stood up and looked around, rain still pouring down onto both of you.

Noticing the bridge in front of you, Buddy grabbed your paw and walked over to it, strange statues that resembled strawberries stood beside the oldish looking bridge.

Looking down at your locked paws they started walking forward, but a sudden huge shake caused both of you to stop and gasp.

"W-What the-" You started but was stopped suddenly when you were forced to run. Buddy was shaking as they sprinted across the breaking bridge, the idea of dying plagued their mind as they tried to go faster while still holding onto you.

You felt the bridge shake with every sound, causing your heart to leap in terror.

You both jump onto land as the bridge comes crashing down and into the opening under. Gasping out, you grabbed onto Buddy's arm and crawled away from the destroyed bridge.

Buddy sighs out in relief. "Oh my grump, that's was a close one." They look at you with a nervous smile "You alright?" With a shaky gasp you nod and continue to tightly grip they're arm. They gulp and give you a small peck on the forehead before getting up. "Come on." They tell you and pull you up.
