Brian & his Noble Blooded Prince

Niyako: Part 1

"Hello Dear!" 

Niyako turned as he sat by the pool, white-silver hair & amber golden eyes shining towards the sun. He rests while reading an old gloomy novel. Looking up he spotted Brian, the swim captain, doing laps around the pool. 

"When are your parents arriving again?" hollered Brian, his goggles holding back his black raven hair, his Italian skin tanning in the sun. 

"In about 3 hours! They're coming back from a business trip in Kenya & Egypt." he hollered back. "I see. Well why don't you join me love? The water is warm." Brian asked while floating on his back. Niyako thought, "Why not?" Tanning serves no use in his already hazelnut-skin.

He removed his shades & tied his silver hair into a ponytail, joining his fiancé who continued doing laps around the pool. Also, making sure to place his engagement ring on top of his book before diving in.

 Brain, by now, was at the far end of the pool, he seemed to be doing an upside-down handstand on the pool floor. "Hopefully he doesn't drown, that would be a bummer", Niyako thought. It was strange how they've known each other since diapers, as young toddlers & are now planning an upcoming wedding.

He didn't fail to see how ironic it was, and hopefully their story wouldn't end up tragic as the OGs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A/N) Probably my first time attempting to publish a story, much less a short story. I thought it a waste to not at least share the handful of independant stories I've come up with over the Covid years. Most, if not all the stories have been prewritten at least 2 or 3 months prior with minor edits and word changes. It's like releasing one's kids to the wild. Fearful but exhilarating.
