Chapter 5: That Jerk!!

Walking home seemed much shorter than walking to school. The day had dragged on forever and it finally coming to an end was like finding the hidden treasure.

The rest of the day had passed normally. The downside was out of 4 classes I had 3 with James.

As I reached the beginning of my street, I noticed cars lined up on both sides. Walking to the front door of my house, I hear chitter chatter coming from inside. Confused I lean forward to open the door and end up following on my knees.

Standing before md with a grin on his face and the door in hand was none other than James.

"Well well, before it was staring and now its falling on your knees, wow how do you get through the day"

"What are you doing here" I growl while dusting dirt of my outfit.

"Your parents invited my parents and everyone else on the street for a get to know dinner."

After staring at him in disbelief for a moment, I walk into the house only to be greeted by the smell of hot coffee and cupcakes.

I walked into the living room which was to the right of the entrance and I saw families lingering around talking to one another. My parents were currently talking to a couple who seemed oddly familiar.

Noticing my presence, my dad calls me and introducing me to the couple.

"Honey, meet Mr and Mrs. Hilbert. They live next door."

"Hi, I'm Ana, its very nice to meet you."

"No, the pleasure is all ours. Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm assuming you go to the same school as our son." Asked Mrs. Hilbert.

"Your son???"

Before Mr. Hilbert could respond a voice that I have grown to hate comes from behind me, " hmm. Its James Hilbert at your service."

I turn around to see James doing a quick bow with a smirk on his face. Not comprehending what just happened I stared at him with wide eyes.

" Ana, right?"

"Y-yeah"

Before he could respond, my mom spoke and told us to go up to my room to get to know each other. Staring at her, I grunt and start walking to my room. As I walked up the stairs, I noticed footsteps behind me. Glancing back I saw James following me.

Grunting a louder grunt for him to hear I walked into my room and sat on my bed.

" ohh let's get this party started shall we, my sweet, dear Ana.
