'Where'd Aramida— Armin go?'

I thought, looking around for her— him, as I walked around the area. Then I heard him cry out, and I ran to where I heard him.

'I swear, if those boys are—'

I rounded a corner and saw Ty, Ray, and Kai surrounding my brother, hitting and kicking him, calling him names.

"Hey!" I yelled, watching as the boys turned towards me.

"What do you think you're doing to my brother, huh?" I asked angrily. I may be small, but I'm stronger than these big bastards.

"Oh no! It's Y/n! She's gonna beat us up!" Ray mocked. I glared, cracking my knuckles.

"Step away from my brother. You don't want any trouble, do you?"

"Pfft! What're you gonna do, pipsqueak!" Kai taunted, taking a step forward. Before any of the others could say anything to egg me on further, I ran at Kai full speed— I kicked him square in the jaw, knocking him down.

"That's what I'll do. And I'll do even worse if you don't leave Armin alone!" I punched him in the gut to enforce my statement.

"Get away from Armin!" Ray and Ty laugh as Eren comes running around the corner.

Mikasa comes running too, not too far from behind him.

"Crap! Mikasa's with him!" Ty yelled, turning to run. The other boys followed, leaving Armin leaning against the wall.

"You alright?" I asked, reaching my hand out to help him up. He nods, about to thank me, when Eren laughs.

"Just one look at me and they go running!" He laughs proudly, thinking they were scared of him, when really they're scared of Mikasa. We laughed and walked to our usual spot by the docs. I just kinda spaced out, staring at the water, not paying attention to anything they were talking about.

'Where did that water in the river come from? Was it just there when the Earth was created? What about the grass? Did it just start growing one day? What about the titans? How did they appear? How were the walls built? They had to have been built after titans started appearing, so how did the people making them not get eaten? Were there scouts before the walls? How do they kill the titans if they regenerate quickly? Do they actually kill the titans, or just put them somewhere? Where would they put them? What kind of animals were there before titans? Were there animals from the sea? What would they look like? What kind of creatures are in the forest? I know there are wolves, rabbits, foxes, deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and the like... but what else is there? How many things haven't been explored yet? What kinds of things are out there? What would happen if—'

My thoughts were interrupted as I was thrown into the air, landing awkwardly and painfully on the stairs.

"Ack!!!" I screamed, pain shooting throughout my body whenever I tried to move.

"Y/n! Are you ok??" Armin and Eren asked at the same time, hurrying over to me.

"Ow- it hurts to move..." I murmured, black dots dancing across my vision. I looked up at my friends and brother. They were trying to talk to me, but I couldn't understand what they were saying; it was all muffled, and things were blurry as my vision faded to black...

'Where am I...? What happened after I blacked out? Is Armin ok?? Are Mikasa and Eren ok??'

I sat up, looking around somewhat frantically— then I realized that I was surrounded by a bunch of people. 'What...? Why are there so many people...?'

"Y/n? Are you awake?" I looked to find the source of the voice— '

Oh, Armin's here.'

"Hey Armin... are Eren and Mikasa ok? What happened after I blacked out?"

"Eren ran to his house and Mikasa followed. Dad came and found us, he carried you onto the boat."

"Do you know if they're safe?"

"Yeah, they're on the other boat."

"Okay... that's good..."
