I walked into Harry's dressing room at the Chicago stadium. I placed his tote and snacks down on the table, making sure the production staff had brought in everything else he needed.
We hadn't spoken in two days and as much as it was eating away at me, I couldn't risk losing this job. Jeff walked in as I was fixing the room and cleared his throat, a beautiful tall blonde standing next to him.
"Ahh, Christy. I was hoping to find you. This is Camille. An old friend of Harry's, I brought her here to surprise him. They haven't seen each other in a a year or so right love?" He smiled at her so proudly and I looked away briefly.
"That's right, Jeff." A small accent in her voice, making it sound extra sweet.
"That's really nice. I'm sure he will be beyond excited." I smiled, my hand behind my back fiddling with my hair.
"He definitely will." Jeff smiled at me, "Can you please stay here with her until he comes. I have to make a quick call."
"Yeah of course." I smiled small, turning back to find something to keep myself busy with.
"So how long have you been working for Harry?" She asked sitting on the couch.
"Uh, just a little over a month now I believe." I said, sitting across from her, pulling out my laptop and placing it on my lap.
I opened it hoping she would see I was busy and not ask further questions, but it unfortunately didn't work.
"Do you know if he is seeing anyone?" She asked softly.
"No, I don't sorry." I felt the stab in my heart, but kept pretending to type.
"Mmmm." She said softly.
A few minutes of silence passed, and I could hear Harry coming down the hall. I hit my lip unsure of what I should do.
"No, mum, I promise I'll make it home. Yeah, yeah I..." I watched as he stopped in his track, slowly moving his phone away from him, "Uh, mum, I'll call you back."
He hung up and walked towards her as she stood up smiling, "Hi Hazza."
"Cami? What in the bloody hell?" He ran up to her and hugged her spinning her around. Her giggle filling the room and making me feel slightly nauseous.
I slowly closed my laptop and slipped it in my bag, standing up and heading towards the door.
"I thought I would come surprise you! Jeff called cause he saw I was in town, thought I would enjoy the show." She said, and I couldn't help but feel like Jeff did this all on purpose.
I walked to the door quietly, and left. Harry never even noticing I was in the room in the first place. He saw her, and it was like he had tunnel vision and nothing else mattered.
Harry's POV
"No, mum, I promise I'll make it home. Yeah, yeah I..." I stopped in my tracks, slowly moving my phone away from my face, "Uh, mum, I'll call you back."
I couldn't believe that she was right in front of me. Her beautiful blonde hair, her sweet smile. I hadn't seen her in so long, I almost had forgotten how she looked.
I hung up and walked towards her as she stood up smiling, "Hi Hazza."
"Cami? What in the bloody hell?" I ran up to her and hugged her spinning her around.
"I thought I would come surprise you! Jeff called cause he saw I was in town, thought I would enjoy the show." She said, and I couldn't help but smile big at her.
"How'd you get in here? Sorry you were waiting alone for so long!"
"I'm not alone silly, she's right...or she was?" Cami said confused, looking around behind me.
